Central Sanskrit University, now known as the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, is an autonomous institution, established in 1970. It has many campuses all over India, including Lucknow, Bhopal, and Himachal Pradesh. Courses provided include classes XI and XII, B.Ed, B.A. with Sanskrit, BA Hons, M.Ed and Ph.D. Admissions to the above-mentioned courses are strictly based on merit.
New in Central Sanskrit University: Central Sanskrit University (Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan) has begun the application process for B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD courses for the academic year 2022-23. Candidates seeking admission can submit their applications till June 25, 2022, without any late fees, and July 5, 2022 (with late fees)

Central Sanskrit University Admissions
Admissions to all courses are solely based on merit in the qualifying examination after the candidate has fulfilled the necessary eligibility criteria.
Application should be filled online through websites
Candidates should fill the application form properly to get registration number and password.
Candidates need to pay INR 1000 as the online application fee.
The documents required at the time of application include:
Attested photocopies of all the examinations passed previously.
Attested photocopies of Subject-wise marks list of all the examinations passed previously.
Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation or equivalent mentioning the date of birth of the candidate).
Original Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution previously attended.
Original Transfer Certificate (TC).

Students who have obtained the minimum percentage or equivalent grade in Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit and aggregate in all subjects can apply.
Central Sanskrit University Facilities
Some of the facilities provided by the institute in its various campuses include:
- Internet Facility: The colleges are equipped with high-speed internet service available to the students of all the classes during the college hour. There are separate internet labs with an adequate number of computers for the students.
- Library: The Campus has a rich library in a built-up area of 8472 Sq.meters and 25 published works to its credit. This library has a vast collection of 39063 books out of which 23269 general books and 12552 textbooks are available besides e-granthalaya and research journals.
- Hostel: The college has both boys and girls hostels. The hostels offer all the basic facilities like clean rooms which include a common room, kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, badminton court, indoor games, guest rooms, internet/ Wi-Fi, and so on.
- Guest House: Guest houses are provided for the parents and guardians of the students and are on a nominal rent. The guest house has all the necessities in it.
- Transportation: The University has an adequate number of buses for the students and staff members.
- Healthcare: The campus has a medical center with a qualified physician and trained nurse to treat staff, students and residents of the campus without charging them
- Sports: Various indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided to the students so that they recharge and freshen up their minds in between their busy schedules.
