Established in 2013 under Rajasthan State Government Act, Maulana Azad University is a leading state private university located in Jodhpur. The University has been a global knowledge center and boasts of educating more than 8000 students in multiple disciplines like Pharmacy, Technology, Management, Education, Science, Commerce, Arts etc.
The University runs nine major faculties and offers 25 + Undergraduate/ Postgraduate/ Professional courses approved by UGC. Applicants are required to pass an entrance exam for PhD admissions at MAU.
Maulana Azad University has instituted a ‘Training and Placement Cell’ to facilitate and help students in career counseling and placement in reputed companies. Currently, the PhD degrees of the university are offered by these faculties.
The basic eligibility for all research degrees is obtaining at least 55% marks in the masters level in a subject/specialization that closely relates to the research topic chosen by the candidate.
