Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) also known as University of Udaipur is a public University. MLSU has been affiliated to UGC and AICTE. University has been ranked 67 for pharmacy course by NIRF.
The University has 60 colleges affiliated with it along with 4 constituent colleges. The 4 constituent colleges are:
- University College of Science
- University College of Social Science and Humanities
- University College of Commerce and Management Studies
- University College of Law
The colleges affiliated to the university are not only spread in the district of Udaipur, but also in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Sirohi.
The University is included in the rank band of 151-200 among other Indian colleges by the National Institute ranking framework in the year 2020. The MLS University is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with Grade “A” and CGPA of 3.11 on a 4 point scale.
Since its inception, the university has been successful in bridging the gap of higher education for more than 22.5 lakh students. - The highest package offered to MLSU students was 4 lakh per annum while the average package was 2.58 lakh per annum by 2021.

MLSU Scholarships

MLSU Facilities
- Library: The university central library contains all the books related to research and other streams. The university's central library also has the facility of many softwares and databases like J Gate, Prowess, SPSS, Tally.
- Sports Ground: MLSU University has well equipped facilities in sports ground like badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, Spice Court, swimming pool, volleyball ground, hockey ground, boxing ring.
