Mja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) is a state university located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It is recognised by the UGC and also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). MGSU has 449 affiliated colleges as well as 150 affiliated B.Ed colleges. MGSU Admission
The registration for all courses is done through online mode. Candidates wishing to apply can submit the application form on the official website of the exam. It is important to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria for each course before applying. MGSU admission to all the UG and PG courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. For admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, the university conducts MPCET (Combined Entrance Test). Those who will successfully qualify for this exam will go for an interview round. Qualified candidates in both rounds will be called for the document verification process. 

How to Apply?
Students looking for admission to UG, PG and Diploma courses offered by MGSU must follow the steps as mentioned below:

Visit the official website of MGSU. Click on “Admission”. Click on “register for application”.
Fill the application form with due attention. After filling the application form, upload your scanned photograph & signature along with the required documents.
Click on “Submit”. Take the printout of the duly filled application form and send the same along with the application fee receipt and relevant documents to VC Secretariat, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, N.H.-15, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner PIN-334004 (Rajasthan).

MGSU Result
MGSU conducted semester-wise examinations for all the courses. The Term End Semester Examination at MGSU is conducted in the month of June/ July. Results for the same are usually declared within two months of completion of the examination. MGSU results can be checked and downloaded by visiting the official website of the university. Students can access their results by entering their login credentials such as Roll Number or University ID/ Registration Number along with a password.

Step 5: MGSU result 2022 will appear on the screen. Check the details present and download it for future reference.

Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG, and Doctorate levels. The courses are offered in various fields such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Management and Law. MGSU also offers BCA, Diploma, and PG Diploma courses in various disciplines under the Center of Entrepreneurship & Skill Development (CESD). MGSU admission to all the UG and PG courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. 

For UG Admissions, candidates should have passed Class 12 with 50% marks while candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field for PG admissions. The final selection will be based on the merit list released by MGSU. Admission to the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs is done through the entrance examination followed by a personal interview conducted by the university. MGSU UG Admission 2022

Basic eligibility for B.A (Hons.) is a pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admission is granted on the basis of marks in the last qualifying examination followed by the document verification process.

MGSU UG Eligibility Criteria 
Candidates having passed 10+2 with 50% Marks are eligible for admission to B.Sc Yogic Science  and BA/ B.Sc (Hons.) Geography course.

The eligibility for admission to B.L.I.Sc course is graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks.

MGSU UG Selection Criteria
For Admission to B.Sc Yogic Science, BA/ B.Sc (Hons.) Geography and B.L.I.Sc courses candidates have to apply online on the university website. MGSU will release a merit list on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. 

Candidates having their names in the merit list will be called for document and fee submission to confirm the admission.

MGSU MA Admission 2022

MGSU offers MA programs for a duration of 2 years in full time mode. The program is offered in 6 specializations. For more information check table below

Minimum eligibility is a pass in relevant Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate.

MGSU M.Sc Admissions 2022

Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) offers M.Sc program in 5 specializations in full time mode. The duration of M.Sc program is 2 years.

MGSU M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

M.Sc Environmental Science: B.Sc. with a medical/ non-medical group or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Geology/Earth Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Agriculture/Horticultural/Forestry/Wildlife/ Life Science with 50 % marks in aggregate.

M.Sc Microbiology: B.Sc. with Life Science as one of the main subject or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetics/Medicine/Agriculture/Horticulture e/Forestry/Wildlife/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Life Sciences with 50% marks

M.Sc (Computer Science): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate

M.Sc Computer Science (Lateral Entry): PGDCA from any recognized university

M.Sc Computer Science (Cyber Security): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate with Computer Science as the main subject

M.Sc Yoga Studies and Therapy Management (SFS): 

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with One year Regular Diploma in Yoga with a minimum of 48% marks from Government recognized University/Recognized Institution.

 Or B.Sc. Naturopathy and Yogic Science/Yogic Science/Yoga/Yoga education with minimum 48% marks from Government recognized University/College or

MGSU M.Sc Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Sc program will be granted on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions : 

The fee structure is not very expensive. It is about 12000 per year approximately. Scholarship programs are also conducted by the campus for the students according to their scores, grades, and merit-based. Scholarships are also given to the students whose financial condition is low by college and by the Rajasthan govt. through many schemes. Internships are provided by the campus but the number of it quite low but the capable child can make it through it.
