Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), a State Private University, is located at Guwahati, Assam. The University was founded on March 29, 2008, by Salesians of Don Bosco. It has been recognized by UGC of India as well as the Distance Education Council, India (DEC). The University offers numerous academic programs at graduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Its aim is to provide quality education to all students regardless of his/her background. It has three campuses-Tapesia campus, Azara campus and Kharguli campus.

Assam Don Bosco University Ph.D Admission
ADBU offers the doctoral program in several fields. Candidates seeking admission to the doctoral program will be admitted on the following basis:
- The candidate must have secured 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 in Master’s degree.
- Selection will be based on the score of entrance exam and personal interview.
Assam Don Bosco University Online Courses
- To secure a seat in MBA and MCA programs, the student must be a graduate from a recognized University.
- The Student must have experience of four years in IT industry to apply for MCA program.
Assam Don Bosco University Scholarships
Scholarships are offered to students on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.

- Infrastructure- To cater to the needs of the students, well-equipped rooms, workshops, laboratories, canteens and auditoriums are constructed for students. Book-cafe is also filled with books and reference books.

GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES
Established in 2007, Assam Don Bosco University is run by Don Bosco Society, Azara, Guwahati. The university has three campuses in Assam– Azara, Tapesia and Kharguli. The university is accredited by NAAC.
The University offers graduate, post-graduate and doctoral level programs. B. Tech, BCA, B.A and B.Com are offered under its under-graduation wing while M.Tech, MSW, M.Sc, MCA, MA and MBA in various streams are offered at postgraduate level. Assam Don Bosco University also offers Ph.D. in 15 specializations. There are online programs offered for MBA, MCA and certificate courses.
- The application process can be completed through online or offline mode.
- The university prospectus can be obtained from the university or candidates can apply for a course online via university’s official website.
- The minimum eligibility requirement the under graduate program is to pass in higher secondary examination with relevant subjects and 45% total aggregate marks.
- Selection of candidates for B.Tech is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and JEE Main/DBU-GET.
- Candidates for BA, B.Com and BCA are selected based on the first come first serve basis.
- Minimum eligibility for post graduate programs is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in concerned discipline securing 50% aggregate marks.
- MBA candidates are selected based on CAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/JMAT/DBU-PGET followed by GD and PI.
- M.Tech, MCA and MSW selection based on the merit in the entrance test conducted by the university and personal interview
- For PhD, the minimum requirement is to pass in master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% aggregate marks.
- Selection process is based on the written test conducted by the university and personal interview.
- For online courses, candidates have to be graduates.

Tech is to be pass 10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks and Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For B. Tech lateral entry, candidates have to be diploma or B.Sc. Degree holders in relevant field from an AICTE approved university.</p> <p id="c" align="left">The selection of candidates in first-year B.Tech is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test i.e. <strong>JEE Main</strong>/state entrance test/Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test. Admission to second-year B.Tech will be based on candidate’s performance in Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET).</p>
