Anant National University is a private institute located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat that offers various courses of design and architecture with unique specialization at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This college is known for being the first university for design in the country. It offers B.Arch and B.Des, programs at UG level and M.Des. program at PG level. Apart from this, some fellowship programs are also offered to the students. Admissions to UG and PG courses are entrance-based, As for fellowship courses, admissions will be merit-based followed by personal interviews.

AnantU Admission
The admission criteria vary according to the courses as some need an entrance test whereas others are merit-based. However, all the process takes place online.
For B.Arch, candidates must have attempted the entrance test NATA. 50% of the admissions will take place through ACPC and the remaining through All India Quota.
For B. Des, the candidate must have attempted the AnantU Design Entrance Test followed by Sketch Round and Personal Interview or UCEED followed by Personal Interview
It is to be noted that 50% of the admissions will take place through ACPC and the other through AnantU.
For M. Des, candidates need to submit an SOP, Portfolio/Recommendation Letter followed by a Personal Interview.
Admissions to fellowship programs are merit-based, followed by personal interviews.
How to Apply?
The candidate must sign up on the official website by providing the required details.
After the successful sign-in, the candidate will be redirected to the login page where the student can put the same login credentials and the password that was created to login.
The form has to be filled by adding the required personal and academic details.
The preferred choice of course also has to be chosen in the form.
The final step is the payment for the application which is Rs.600 and can be done through any online mode such as card payment or net banking.
AnantU Placements
The college has a placement cell that caters to the employment needs of the students. The students are compulsorily indulged in an Internship program of 6 months in order to give them exposure towards practical knowledge and creativity.
The recruiters that visit the college are Lodha Group, Piramal Group, QCI, Common Ground practice, INI Design Studio, HCP Design, Planning & Management Pvt. Ltd.,Earth Foundation,Blocher Blocher India pvt. Ltd., Open Spaces Design Studio, Biome Environmental Solutions. The students also get placed in government sectors.
The average salary that has been recorded of the students who get placed through fellowship programs is 5.47 lacs with the highest being 9 lacs. For Pg programs, the average Salary was 5.6 lacs and the highest was 7.2 lacs
AnantU Facilities
Clubs and societies: The college encourages students in taking initiatives to commence student-driven clubs and societies or participate in them. This helps the students have exposure towards creativity and leadership attitude.
Library: There is a library located inside the campus that provides the students with resources in form of books, e-journals magazines, etc. The students can find plenty of resources that are based on their respective subjects as well as books for extra knowledge.
Hostel: The college has a separate hostel for both males and females with all facilities such as internet, food, water supply and cleanliness.

The total number of faculty members present in the college is about 109 and all are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields of pedagogy.

Anant National University, also known as AnantU, is India's first design university. AnantU was established in 2016 as a Private University by Laxman Gyanpith Trust and is approved by the Council of Architecture. Anant National University UG Eligibility
Applicants seeking admission in AnantU must fulfill the below mentioned requirements:
For enrollment in B.Arch, candidates must have cleared their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
For admission to the B.Des programme, at least 50% aggregate marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent examination from any stream (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities) from Gujarat State Board or any other state’s board or CBSE/ICSE/NIOS/IB is required.
Alternatively, the candidates are required to clear a 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Candidates applying for B.Arch course are required to qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) examination with a valid score.
Candidates applying for B.Des programme are required to appear in the AnantU Design Entrance Test (DET)
After meeting all the requirements, selected candidates are called for a personal interview.
