Kerala University is a state public university located in Thiruvananthapuram, India. The University of Kerala is recognized by UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC. Kerala University Admission

Kerala University UG admission (except for BTech, B.Arch, BPA, BFA, and BPEd courses) are offered on the basis of the merit list released by the university. Admission to the BTech, B.Arch, BPA, BFA, and BPEd courses are done through entrance examinations such as KEAM, NATA followed by counselling.

Kerala University PG admission is based on entrance examinations. The university accepts GATE, CMAT/KMAT/KU CAT, KLEE for admission to courses such as M.Tech, MBA, and LLM. Admissions to the Ph.D. courses are offered on the basis of the entrance examination and personal interview conducted by the university.

Kerala University Result

Kerala University releases results for all the UG and PG courses on its official website. Students who have appeared for the examinations can check and download the results by visiting the official website of the university. The University of Kerala also provides an opportunity for revaluation of answer keys. After the declaration of the result, students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for the revaluation of answer scripts. The application form for revaluation has to be submitted online only.

Kerala University Facilities

Campus Library: The University of Kerala hosts a vast library at the Kariavattom campus, started in 1976 and acts as a reference library for research scholars. The library has over 7000 books and has a subscription to over 60 periodicals. It also offers internet, reprographic, UGC - Infonet, e-journal services and many more.

Department Libraries: Apart from campus library, all the teaching departments have their own separate library i.e 34 at the campus of Kariavattom and 6 at the campus of Senate house.

Sports Facilities: Kerala University offers good sports opportunities at its various campuses. The University has a playground for the students to play cricket, hockey and football. Gymnasium and indoor games are also available to the students.

Observatory: The Trivandrum Observatory is located on a hill at a 60 feet height and 200 feet above sea level. The geographical location of the observatory is 8 degrees 30 min northern latitude and about 76 degrees 59 minutes eastern longitude It is a part of the Department of Physics of Kerala University.
