Kalyani University, established in 1960, has marked its progression for which students & scholars of the country join the region of this pedagogical center. Kalyani University Scholarship
The university offers financial assistance to meritorious and economically backward class students. The university offers merit scholarship, merit cum means scholarship, and apart from these two scholarships all other scholarships are provided by the Govt., UGC such as UGC Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship, State Govt. Merit/Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, UGC Merit Scholarship, and UGC Scholarship for M.Phil SC/ST Students. 

The Merit Scholarship is for the students who have secured 60% marks in aggregate and must have 75% attendance and the Merit Cum Means Scholarship is for those who have secured 55% marks in aggregate with 75% attendance. Indira Gandhi Single Child is an award worth INR 20,000 per year to a single child for PG courses.

Hostel: The university offers accommodation facilities to the students, a total number of nine hostels are there for all the post-graduate students and research scholars - six for boys and three for girls students. Two hostels are specified for research scholars - one for males and the other for females. University of Kalyani, established in 1960, is a state-government administered, affiliating and Research University in Nadia district of West Bengal. The university offers a wide range of UG, PG and Research level courses in the streams of Science, Arts & Commerce, Education, and Engineering, Technology & Management and Music & Fine Arts. The admission procedure for Kalyani University varies for different courses. For admission to some of the courses, the university conducts separate entrance test, interview and group discussion to evaluate the courses, whereas, for some courses, admission is purely based on the merit in the qualifying examination. Kalyani University UG Admission 2022
At undergraduate level, Kalyani University offers B.Tech in two specializations, B.Ed, B.P.Ed and Integrated M.Sc. course at UG level.

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode. b) Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above three subjects taken together. c) Must have passed English in the ‘10+2’ examination with at least 30% marks.

For B.Tech., admission will be through entrance and counselling by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WB-JEE)
For B.P.Ed, candidates need to appear in entrance test, that consists of Games and Motor fitness test.
There will be no entrance test for admission to the 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. Course in Statistics. Admission is on the basis of marks obtained in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.

Kalyani University PG Admission 2022
Kalyani University offers a wide range of Postgraduate level courses under various specialization subjects. The university provides M.A. degree under 12 different specializations, M.Sc. under 15 different specializations and M.Tech. under two specializations.

The Entrance Test for various Post-graduate courses in Science, Arts & Commerce, MRDM, M.Ed., M.Tech. in Environmental Management will consist of only a written test.
For M. Tech. in Communication Engineering admission will be through Entrance Test and Interview.
Admission to M.Tech.in Computer Science and Engineering course will be done through written test and interview conducted by the department. Preference will be given to the GATE qualified candidates.

The application fees for general Candidates is 400 INR, and for SC/ ST candidates the fees are 200 INR.
