Sri Padmavati Mahila Mahavidyala was established in 1983 by N.T. Rama Rao to empower the women through Education. It is a state University and is recognized by UGC. With the approval of Bar Council of India, and Indian Nursing Council, its courses in the respective streams are well reputed.
It is not region specific, and admits women from all 3 regions of Andhra Pradesh, i.e. Rayalaseema, Telangana, and Coastal Andhra.
It offers more than 55 Courses in different UG and PG Courses including B. Tech., MBA, etc. NAAC has accredited it with ‘A’ grade. Admissions to the courses are merit and test-based. Applicants can apply online or offline.
Its campus is located in Tirupati, at the foot of sacred Tirumala Hills. It has a 138 acre semi-urban campus with multiple facilities like Hostels, Health Center, and Gyms. Admissions can be test-based or merit-based, decided by the University.

SPMVV has consistently been an achiever. It has been accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC Team, and its Pharmacy department was ranked 66 by NIRF 2022. It has also been given AAA rating university, and similar achievements by different websites
SPMVV Courses
SPMVV offers courses in streams like B. Tech., MBA, B.Sc., M.Sc., M. Pharm., etc. Admissions are made on the basis of merit/test as per the decision of the University. Few courses are offered in Distance Learning mode too.
SPMVV Admissions
Admissions to B.Sc. Nursing is test/merit-based. Mode of Application is online/offline.

On the “Challan Registration Form” Page, fill up the details accurately.
An OTP will be generated. Enter it on the page and proceed.
Fill up the application form minutely.
Pay the required registration amount online.
Report for the counselling for seats to confirm.
Offline Mode:
Visit the official website and download the form.
Fill up the form correctly.
Paste recent passport size photographs as required.
Send the filled-up form with a DD of INR 455/- in the favor of
SPMVV Scholarships
Scholarship for SPMVV can be availed under the schemes by Department of Biotechnology, or other such departments by the government of India. Also, the scholarships are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) is a university for women located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It takes candidates from all the three regions of AP – Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra.
The university offers vocational courses and has an interrelationship with several foreign universities and organizations to provide the opportunities in development programs and entrepreneurship.
The university also administers the Vocational, MBA, and Distance Education courses as well as the integrated programs in Biotechnology, Physical Education, and Bioinformatics.
Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMV) grants admission to all the courses based on the merit of the candidates scored in the last qualifying examination or an entrance test conducted at the State/National level. There is a common entrance exam conducted by the university to select the candidates for the PG programs. This university also imparts education through distance learning.

SPMVV offers various PG programmes in different specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria is to pass a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with minimum at least 50% marks.
Application Process
The application can be submitted online as well as offline for the SPMVV PGCET. In order to apply online, students should follow the given steps:
Go to the official website of the SPMVV.
Click the SPMVVPGCET button.
Click the Registration section at the left side of the page.
You will be redirected to the Challan Registration Form page. Fill up all the required details.
After filling up the form, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) to you registered mobile number and Email ID.
Enter the OTP in the box for the security code.
Click the Register & Proceed button.
Fill up the details for the following sections:
Test Center
SSC/X Details
Special Reservation Category (If applicable)
Particulars of Study
Select the applicable option for the following sections:
Annual Income of Parents in (Rs)
Result Status
Whether the student has already studied any PG course
Upload your passport size photo and signature in the respective sections.
Select the I accept the Terms & Conditions checkbox.
Click the Click to Preview button.
On the preview page, check if all the entered information are correct.
To edit, click the BACK – To Edit button.
After editing the information, click the Click to Preview button.
After rechecking the entered information, click the Save & Print button.
An application submission receipt will be generated. Download the receipt for your future reference.
Click the Online Payment button, which will open the bill desk page.
Click the Online Payment Through Bill Desk button.
A new page will open. Enter the application number in the Enter App No. box.
Click the Proceed For Online SPMVVPGCET Bill Desk Payment button.
Make the payment using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
Once the payment is successful, take the print out of the application.
