NIT Agartala has been ranked and recognized by NIRF and ARIIA and is known for its flagship program B.Tech. The admission to the B.Tech program is done via scores of JEE Main and also considers academic performance in 10th and 12th. For admission into the B.Tech CSE program, a general category candidate needs to have a JEE Main rank between 22415-54501. Apart from this, NIT Agartala imparts quality education in the field of engineering, management, basic science, and humanities and offers various other programs at UG and PG levels.
The institute has recently introduced more specialized subjects like hydro informatics and aeronautics in the field of engineering and technology. Also, NIT Agartala is the first NIT in India to have a Kendriya Vidyalaya within the Campus itself and 2nd NIT in India to offer a dual degree program in Physics.

NIT Agartala Placements
National Institute of Technology Agartala has a highly active training and placement cell which is devoted to providing all the students with the opportunity to get recruited by reputed companies and well known prestigious organizations at domestic and international level.
During the previous year, the institute saw a successful placement season with 350 students from the 4-year undergraduate program getting placed bringing in an average CTC of INR 5 LPA and a median CTC of INR 5.5 LPA.
