Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak is ranked 76 in the Overall University Rankings by NIRF. MDU Rohtak has also been ranked 1 in Swachhta Ranking. The university offers a plethora of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. It also provides distance education to students. More than 275 corporate recruiters visited the campus for placement and 10% of students have received International Placements.
The mode of application for UG and PG courses at MDU is online. For B.Tech admission, merit course in JEE Mains is conducted for shortlisting the candidates, subject to availability of seats. For MA, MBA, M.Com, and LLM course admission, the entrance merit of KUK is the selection criteria. M.Pharm and M.Sc admission is based on merit secured in the MDUCEE entrance test.
The university offers distance education in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. B.A, B.Com, B.LIS, M.A, M.Sc (Mathematics), M.Com and M.L.Is Science are offered through MDU Rohtak Distance Education. MDU Admission to the distance education programs is offered through the marks secured by the students in the qualifying examinations.
As per the latest updates, MDU DDE is inviting applications for admission to its UG and PG courses in several disciplines. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application till the deadline of April 15, 2021, at mdu.ac.in.
MDU, Rohtak was established in 1976 and has affiliated colleges across 10 districts of Haryana. There are 38 PG departments and 11 Faculties within the University. It has secured top University Ranking in NIRF for the past 3 years as compared to other Universities of Haryana. There are 91 Degree colleges, and 72 colleges that offer Law, Management and architecture courses as per the guidelines of MDU.

MDU, Rohtak Admission
The admission is strictly conducted based on the secured merit of the candidates after scrutiny of the required eligibility criteria. Admission to MBA, MA, M.Com is offered as per the marriott secured by the applicants in the KUKCET entrance test. It is followed by GD and PI round. Aspirants willing to get admission for M.tech course at MDU, Rohtak must have a valid GATE score for the selection process.
B.tech admission to MDU seats is offered based on HSTES counselling process or as per merit in JEE Mains exam. For Integrated courses, LLM, M.Sc and M.Pharm courses, the university conducts separate entrance tests for MDUCEE. The merit of the entrance is considered for selecting shortlisted candidates.

MDU, Rohtak Placements
The placement cell of MDU Rohtak conducts all the placement related activities for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The cell also provides information on employment trends, project development, recruitment methods, occupational reviews, scholarships, and fellowships in India and abroad. The batch of MBA 2019 got placed with median salary of 2.2 LPA and 102 students got placed.

GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES
MDU conducts Common Entrance Exam (MDUCEE) for centralized admission to M.Sc and M.Pharm courses.
For admission to M.Com, MBA, LL.M, candidates are shortlisted through entrance test conducted by Kurukshetra University (KUK).
A total of 7 universities participate in the MDUCEE and KUK admission process and the centralized exam is conducted in June every year.
Non-Centralized admission to LL.B, B.Pharm and Integrated courses is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the university. The exam is conducted in June/July every year.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counselling through valid JEE Main score.
Admission to non-centralized courses such as BTTM, BHM, MA, M.Li.Sc., MHM, MTTM are done through academic merit
In case of M.Tech, candidates are shortlisted through GATE scores. If GATE scores are not available, candidates are selected through qualifying degree merit.
Admission to PhD courses is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test conducted by MDU.
Candidates need to apply for centralized admission via the respective official registration portal (MDUCEE and KUK).
Registrations for non-centralized admission can be done by submitting applications along with INR 150 to the concerned university department.
