Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer is affiliating university in Rajasthan. It was established on August 1, 1987, and was accredited as 'B++' by NAAC in 2017. For the benefit of financially unstable but meritorious students, the university grants a wide range of scholarships. These scholarships are:
University Fellowships: One university fellowship worth INR 6000 will be offered to the research students in each faculty at the university campus.
Departmental Fellowship: One fellowship worth INR5000 will be offered to the research students in each teaching department of the university.
Professional Faculty Fund Fellowship: One scholarship each of INR250 per month for 12 months shall be given to the meritorious students of each course.
Need cum Merit Scholarship: It is provided as financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students to enable them to pursue higher education. It is available for all UG and PG courses.
Student Assistantship: The students may assist in administrative works for which they will be paid in an earn-while-you-learn pattern.
Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/PWD: This scholarship is distributed by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the Government of Rajasthan to the students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
