Admission to JUIT is done through online mode. The candidates will be enrolled through Entrance Test only. Test score of all National or State Level Entrance Exam i.e. JEE (Main) will be considered. GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES

Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Solan was established in the year 2002. It offers 7 specializations under the B.Tech program, 4 under M.Tech, and 8 under the Ph.D. program. B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate program of four years with a total of 510 seats. M.Tech is a two-year full-time course with an intake capacity of 18 seats per specialization. JUIT offers Ph.D. as both full-time and part-time. Candidates also have the choice of sponsored Ph.D.

The application process is done online . Candidates shall have to pay an amount of INR 1200 (UG) or INR 1000 (PG/Ph.D.) as the application fee. The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.Tech program is 10+2 with 60% aagregate. For admission to MTech Program, 60% aggregate marks or 06 CGPA in scale of 10 at UG level is must.

Admission to JUIT  PhD Program is on the basis of merit. Candidates having qualified NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR(JRF) are exempted from the PhD Entrance Test conducted by the University. Non-NET/SLET qualified candidates have to appear for the entrance test and selection offer will be
made to the qualified candidates in order of merit.

Admission to MSc Program is on the basis of merit of UG program. 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) in UG is must for admission to the program. Admission to BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics & Computing is on the basis of merit of 10+2 Examination with 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of both merit and entrance examination. For B.Tech, candidates must clear JEE Main. For M.Tech, GATE or PGET by JUIT.

10% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the state of Himachal Pradesh, who have completed their degree in the State.
