JNAFAU Scholarships
JNAFAU offers scholarships to students under various schemes. Students who perform well in their studies are granted tuition fee waivers. Also, students who belong to backward class and students with excellent performance in sports are also granted scholarships.
JNAFAU is one of the prestigious Universities which offer courses in Fine Arts and Architecture. The university has 5 departments, such as Architecture, Engineering, Arts, Design and Animation. It imparts degrees in UG, PG and PhD programs and additionally, it also offers PG Diploma & Certificate courses too.
At UG level, B Tech, B.Arch, BFA and BDes courses are offered by the university. To meet the eligibility criterion for B Tech and B.Arch courses, candidates must pass 10+2 level with PCM as compulsory subjects. For BFA and B.Des students must pass intermediate graduation. To get admission in B.Tech, candidates must secure qualified marks in TS EAMCET. B.Arch admission in JNAFAU is done on the basis of fulfilling the eligibility criteria and followed by the counselling process. At PG level JNAFAU offers M.Tech, MFA and M.Arch. To be eligible for M.Tech and M.Arch, students must complete B.Tech and B.Arch. Selection will be granted on the basis of a valid score in TS PGECET. For MFA, applicants should qualify BFA. For selection, students need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the JNAFAU followed by an interview process.
Candidates seeking admission in JNAFAU PhD course, must qualify MFA in applied Arts with 55% marks in aggregate. The selection process is based on a valid entrance exam score followed by an interview. Students who have already scored in UGC-NET/JRF, are exempted from the entrance test
JNAFAU B.Arch Admission Criteria 2022
Indian Applicants
The applicants have to be an Indian national and complete 10+2 (K12) level of education with PCM as main subjects.
They are also required to satisfy the domicile of A.P. or ‘local resident’ requirement.
international Applicants: Eligibility criteria for these students is based on their scores at 10+2 level and in PCM.

JNAFAU B.Arch Counselling
JNAFAU officially conducts Counselling in Telangana for B.Arch admission. In 2020, JNAFAU issued the notification for Phase I – B.Arch Counselling on November 17. Counselling is conducted in the following series of events:
Online registration for document uploading and college selection begins after the official notification is released.
The preliminary round for verification of scanned documents cum certificates is conducted across JNAFAU affiliated colleges. Last year for the first time, this round was conducted online amid COVID-19 restrictions.
Within 18 days, the State Architecture Ranking (SAR) list is released. In 2020, the rank or merit list was prepared on the basis on:
50% of NATA scores
JEE Main Paper 2 rank is also included, if candidates qualify for it.
50% of class XII marks
Colleges release the list of provisionally selected students for Phase I. In 2020, a time period of 2 day’s was given to applicants for completing their final admission formalities.
This was followed by the release of Phase II list.
TS B.Arch State Rank 2020
In 2020, names of 1151 qualified students were released for 805 seats. The highest score recorded in SAR was 90.75, for NATA 2020 was 177/200 and JEE Main (Paper 2) was 249/500 for B.Arch admission.
Those applicants whose names appeared in SAR, had to login in to TS B.Arch portal and select their choice of colleges.
The applicants could see the seat availability in JNAFAU affiliated colleges for B.Arch admissions after logging in.
They had to choose their college(s) of choice in order of ranking and lock the choices within the assigned time.
Colleges then released the names of candidates as per seat availability for Phase I.
Within 2 days of release of the first list, applicants had to report to the college with their call letter and complete the admission formalities.

JNAFAU B.Arch Course Highlights
B.Arch course is 5 years long and is offered across 11 affiliated colleges of JNAFAU. The other details are:
Highest number of seats (i.e. 120 seats) are available at Sri Venkateswara College of Architecture, Hyderabad as per CoA approval.
Total fee for B.Arch course varies between INR 65,000 to INR 97,000 per annum.
More than 90% of the students get internship opportunities each year.
Placements are between 30-40% in top companies like DLF. The highest CTC varies from INR 4 - 5 LPA.

JNAFAU BFA & B.Des Admission 2022
As per the admission criteria, applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
Applicants should have passed 10+2, and pursued any stream in +2 (K12).
Should be an Indian citizen, and should fulfil the criteria of being a ‘local’ residing in Andhra Pradesh.
Also applicants have to qualify the FADEE exam conducted by JNAFAU. It is conducted for both BFA and B.Des courses.

JNAFAU sets the entrance exam for B.Des with a mix of both modern and abstract art. In order to get admission to B.Des, applicants should score 180/200. An admission list is generated by combining scores in FADEE and class XII.

JNAFAU BFA Entrance Exam 2020
Last year, JNAFAU BFA entrance exam was conducted in the 1st week of November. It is of 100 marks and has MCQ, descriptive and illustration type questions. BFA is usually scheduled for two days:
One day is for Applied Art, Painting & Sculpture applicants. Entrance is common and same for these three specializations.
Second day is exclusively for Photography.
Applicants applying for Applied Art, Painting, Sculpture and Animation. have to appear for Paper A, B & C.
Applicants applying for Photography will have to sit for Paper D and E.

Admission criteria for B.Tech at JNAFAU is as follows:
Applicants must have studied 10+2 from a recognized Board with PCM as core subjects.
Also they must qualify for the TS EAMCET exam to be called for the counselling round.
JNAFAU B.Tech Course Highlights:
This is a 4 year, full time, self-financed course offered at JNAFAU.

Admission criteria for the following courses are as follows:
M.Tech: Applicants must have B.Arch / B.Tech (Civil) / Masters in Economics or Geography, from a recognized university.
M.Arch: Candidates should have completed B.Arch from a recognized university, to be eligible to apply for admission.

JNAFAU M.Tech & M.Arch Course Details:
Both M.Tech and M.Arch courses are 2 years long and are full time.
Admission commences from August or September each year for these courses.
There are 40 seats for M.Arch and 25 seats for M.Tech.

MFA course at JNAFAU is offered both full time and part time. There are 56 seats for MFA admission. JNAFAU MFA Fee is INR 56,000 p.a. There are various specializations available. They are:

Applicants who have studied three years BFA in the corresponding specialization, are eligible for admission.
The selection would depend upon the applicant’s entrance scores. The entrance is conducted by JNAFAU.

There is a bifurcation of 30 marks questions for MCQs (subject specific) and 50 marks for 1 question in practical exam.

This is a 4 year long programme, offering only one specialization - Applied Art. JNAFAU Phd Fee is INR 20,000 p.a.
Admission Criteria:
Applicants must hold an MFA degree in Applied Arts with at least 55% aggregate in order to apply for admissions.
Admission selections are based on entrance scores followed by an interview.
Entrances conducted at national level are also accepted like - UGC-NET / JRF.
