Central University of South Bihar was established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009. The University has been accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘A’ and has also been ranked at #1 and #56 by EWI Bihar and EWI India respectively. It is also approved by AICTE and UGC. Central University of South Bihar is known for offering various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs under Science, Arts, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Education and Medical streams.
Admission to BA + B.Ed, B.Sc + B.Ed, BA + LLB and other PG programs is provided based on a valid CUCET score. For the M.Tech program, candidates are provided admission based on the GATE scores.
A 5% relaxation will be provided in the cutoff marks for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST or OBC category.

The admission process can be easily explained in the following steps :
Visit the official website of the University and click on the ‘Registration’ link.
First, register with basic details like Name, DOB, Father’s Name, email ID, and enter a valid password
After registration, login using the credentials.
Now, fill-in the application form with mandatory details and upload the scanned copies of documents required.
Finally, pay the application fees and submit the form.
Take a print out of the application form for future reference.

The University of South Bihar, referred to as CUSB, was established in 2009 in Gaya, Patna. It has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC and appeared in the overall rankings of NIRF 2020. The institute offers 3 integrated programs, and 5 postgraduate courses in multiple specializations.
CUSB accepts applications through online mode.
Candidates applying for B.A + B.Ed, or B.Sc + B.Ed must be qualified with at least 50% in 10 + 2. Admissions are based on the CUCET scores.
Admissions to the B.A + LLB course is also on the basis of CUCET scores. Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 with at least 45% to be eligible.
For the M.Tech course, candidates must have achieved 60% in B.E or B.Tech in a relevant specialization, or MCA. Admissions are based on GATE scores.
For all other PG courses, eligibility criteria range from 50 to 55% in the relevant specialization. Admissions are based solely on CUCET scores.
A 5% relaxation of marks is also granted to all candidates from SC/ ST / OBC community to be eligible. While applying for CUCET, there is no Cut Off for these candidates, unless their overall score is 0 or negative.
