C U Shah University located at Wadhwan is one of the best educational organizations in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. It is a state-private university that is spread across 60 acres of land. It is well recognized by all statutory and regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, MHRD, NCTE, INC, DET and the Government of Gujarat. This University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). University is run by Vardhman Bharti Trust and is named after Chimanlal Ujamshibhai Shah ( C U Shah). Many constituent colleges and courses of the university are NAAC, IE, CSI, ASQ, TCS accredited, certified and recognized.
It offers Diploma, UG and PG programmes in different streams like Pharmacy, Engineering, Nursing, Management, Arts, Commerce, Science, Education and Social Work. The admissions to the university and its constituent college are mostly done based on the merit of the candidate’s qualifying exam. - The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com/ BBA is passed in 10+2 from a recognized Board.
- Similarly, candidates who have passed 10+2 with Science stream can apply for B.Tech/ BCA admission.
- To get admission into B.Ed. and B.L.I.Sc., applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Admission to B.Tech is given through GUJCET.
- Admission to B.Pharm is done through GUJCET/ JEE/ CET.
- Admission to LLB is done through CULAT and to B.Sc. (Nursing) as per the guidelines of ACPMEC.
- Selection of the candidates for all other UG courses is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates are selected for admission into M.Tech on the basis of their score in CET/ GATE.
- Admission to MBA/ MCA is given as per the merit of CMAT and candidates are admitted to M.Pharm through CET/ GPAT merit.
- Admission to all remaining PG courses is done on the merit basis.
- Selection of the applicants to grant admission into Diploma in Engineering, PGDCA, PG Diploma in Management and GNM courses is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
- To get admission into Ph.D. course applicant shall qualify CUCET.
