Allahabad State University, also known as Professor Rajendra Singh University is a UGC-approved state university. It has 562 affiliated colleges which are spread in all major districts of Uttar Pradesh. The main university in Prayagraj (Allahabad) is spread in the area of 120 acres which includes departments of Ancient Indian History, Political Science, Economics, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Hindi, Sociology, Commerce, and Social work.

Allahabad State University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D programme offered by Allahabad State University must possess a masters degree from any recognized university or institution in the proposed field/ subject with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
