Nirma University (NU) Ahmedabad, Gujarat was established in 2003. It was the first University established in Gujrat. Nirma University was ranked between 101-150 by NIRF 2020 and was ranked 4 by Outlook Magazine. The university has been accredited by NAAC, NBA, and SAQS. It offers 5 UG, 8 PG, 4 integrated, and Ph.D. (Full time & Part-Time) courses like B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech, B.Com LLB(Hons.), etc. The admission to Nirma University is through Merit score and various entrance exams like CAT/ GUJCET/ JEE Mains/ CLAT/ GATE/ PGCET/ NATA/ CMAT. Nirma University Facilities

Bank and ATM: A branch of the Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank Limited (KCCBL), a scheduled bank, is located on the University campus in K block. The banking hours are from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The facility is open to all students, staff, and faculty of Nirma University and its Institutes.

Outdoor Sports: The university campus has a world-class infrastructure to facilitate almost all outdoor sports activities. It has a well-maintained cricket ground with three hard bowling pitches. Training nets are also provided during the practice sessions. Further, there is a running track, three lawn tennis courts, two volleyball courts, two basketball courts, and space for football and kho-kho as well.

Transport Facility: The University owns a fleet of forty-five buses that ply in almost all the areas in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The transportation facility is available for students, faculty, and staff members.

Social Activities: The Students Welfare Board aims to promote the social-psychological and cultural growth of the students through a host of activities around the year. Annual sports competitions, cultural festivals like Ras-Garba, celebrations of national days, and social activities such as blood donation drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, awareness lectures for youth are the recurring features of campus life.

Library: Nirma University Library System comprises five units, i.e., Technology Library, Management – Commerce Library, Pharmacy – Science Library, Law Library, and Architecture. Nirma University Library System uses Open Source software DSpace version 6.3 to build and update institutional repository which houses the faculty publications, Ph.D. theses, institute program videos, convocation speeches, etc.

Hostel: Nirma University has currently 3 hostels. two for boys and one for girls. The hostel facility can only be availed by Postgraduate students. The hostels have a total capacity of 800 students and also building a hostel for girls with 1100+ bed capacity, which will be completed by 2022.

Health Care Center: Health care centers are available in C and D blocks of Nirma University. The health care center is opened on all working days and a 24*7 ambulances are also provided by the University.

Counseling Centers: Nirma University provides counseling facilities to its students. The counselor helps the student to share his/her problems positively by helping him clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies, and increase self-awareness.
