HNBGU is a central university located in Uttrakhand. HNBGU admission 2022 is now open for UG courses through CUET. The last date to submit the application form is September 26. Aspiring candidates can apply online on the university’s official admission portal - hnbgucuet.samarth.edu.in. Also, CUET UG 2022 result is out now; candidates can download the scorecard through the official website - cuet.samarth.in. Further, CUET PG 2022 exam concluded on September 11, and results for the same will be announced soon.

HNBGU is a central university of Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The university offers UG, PG, UG Diploma, PG Diploma and Research Programmes under several disciplines. HNBGU has 11 schools under various domains.

HNBGU has three campuses, Birla Chauras Campus (BCC), B. Gopal Reddy (BGR) Campus, Pauri and Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) Campus. The university has 121 colleges and institutions under its affiliations spreading over seven districts of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.

Established in 1973, with the guidance of the highly qualified, expert faculty members and ability of enthusiastic students the university has bagged Grade 'A' by NAAC and approvals of PCI, UGC and AICTE.

HNBGU has a SWAYAM Cell, for promoting and implementing online classes so that students can avail all the courses from the e-learning process. From the e-learning process, UG, PG and research non technical subjects can be availed by the students.

HNBGU Scholarship
Merit Scholarship to B.Ed. Students: This scholarship is provided to the six students who have scored the top positions in the entrance examination conducted by the University for admission to a B.Ed program, and are granted a monthly Scholarship of INR 200.
Merit Scholarship to BPL Students: This Scholarship is given to the students who belong to BPL category and worth INR 1500 per month is granted for ten academically talented students of the University.
Shri Kalyaneshwar Temple Scholarship: This is for the meritorious and economically backward class students of both UG and PG Courses.
Smt. Shanti Devi Shaligram Bhatt Scholarship: This aid is granted for the three students of the University every year. Two of these Scholarships are for the students of UG or PG curriculums and one fellowship is given to the student of Mass Communication who have scored 60% and 50% marks respectively in the previous examination and the annual family income of the applicant's should be INR 60,000 per annum.

HNBGU Facilities
Central Library: HNBGU has libraries in all three campuses and are well equipped with books and research journals. There are different sections like Acquisition, Text-Book, Circulation, etc. Each library has a strength to hold about 1.30 lakhs books approximately in all the three campuses.
Computer Centre: The computer centres are set up by the financial aid from UGC in all the three campuses of the university. Students have 24*7 access to the computer facility on the campus.
Hostels: University provides hostel facilities for boys and girls both . University has proper hostel amenities with 1-Seater, 2-Seater, 3- Seater and 4-Seater rooms provided to students. University also has a Guest House facility for the people coming for research.

HNBGU UG Selection Criteria

Candidates willing to seek admission in UG courses at HNBGU will have to clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET (UG)-2022 will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. Candidates may register for CUET from the HNBGU portal or by visiting @cuet.samarth.ac.in. Few courses are offering direct admission. Admission to the majority of courses will be based on the CUET merit list.

CUET 2022 is divided into 4 sections.
Candidates will have to choose any 3 languages (maximum)
Candidates applying for B.A, B.Sc(Yoga & Naturopathy) will need to give General Test to seek admission
For B.Tech and B.Sc, Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For candidates who are opting for B.Tech after the CUET 2022 merit list gets exhausted, a counselling session will take place on JEE mains’ merit score.
Candidates who are taking admitted to B.Tech (Lateral entry in all the branches) at HNBGU will be selected on the basis of the CUET 2022 Merit list.

Candidates will first have to register on the official website of NTA after which they will have to register on the HNBGU portal. Candidates can check the process given below to apply to HNBGU:

Candidates can visit the official website and apply only in online mode at cuet.samarth.ac.in/. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates must provide an appropriate e-mail ID and Mobile number for receiving confirmation SMS by NTA
Candidates must enter their personal and academic details properly and upload the scanned copies of their signature, photograph, mark sheet and other certificates
Candidates must pay the application fee in online mode through credit/Debit card/Net banking.

At the PG level the university serves Master of Education (M.Ed), Master of Arts in Education [M.A. (Edu.)] holding a duration of two years. The university also caters a one year PG Diploma in Yogic Sc.

A Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline is must to be considered eligible for any of the courses in PG level. The university allows only the eligible candidates to appeal for the concerned courses.
