Dr. Harisingh Gour University Admission
The University conducts Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Entrance Tests (hereinafter mentioned as UGET/PGET/PHDET) for admission to various UG, PG and Ph.D. level programs. Sagar University Admissions will be given after counseling according to merit in UGET and PGET, subject to verification of eligibility in the particular course for which the candidate has applied and appeared in the Entrance Test.
Application Fee for Entrance Test:
For UGET and PGET – INR 800 for General, OBC, and PwD candidates, whereas INR 400 for SC and ST candidates. If a candidate applies for more than one program, they will have to pay INR 400 for General, OBC, and PwD and INR 200 for SC/ ST for each additional program.
For PHDET: INR 1000 for General, OBC, and PwD candidates, whereas INR 800 for SC and ST. If a candidate applies for more than one program, they will have to pay INR 500 for General, OBC, and PwD and INR 250 for SC/ ST for each additional program.
Before going for the Entrance Test the Candidates will have to download their Sagar University Admit Card for further procedure. Until the candidate brings the Admit Card he/she will not be allowed to sit for the Entrance Exam of the university.
Sagar University Scholarship
The university offers a number of scholarships and freeships to students coming from a financially poor background. It is offered on various parameters and criteria to deserving and meritorious students. Dr Hari Singh Gour University Ph.D Admission 2022
At doctoral level, the university offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree to the research aspirant candidates. The Ph.D programmes are offered under diversified specialization subjects. The intake capacity depends upon the nature of courses opted by the candidates.
In order to seek admission to the Ph.D programmes, candidates need to hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (5% relaxation for SC / ST/ PC candidates).
Admission to the Ph.D programmes is done through an Entrance Test PHDET followed by an interview. Candidates who will secure 50% marks in the PHDET, will be called for interview.
Only those Candidates who were admitted in M.Pharm. with valid GPAT and fulfils the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to Ph.D. programme will be considered for

Fee for UGET & PGET: The application fee for UG and PG Entrance test is Rs. 800/- and Rs. 1000/- respectively for Unreserved, OBC and PC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC and ST candidates.
If a candidate applies for more than one programme / code (UGET & PGET) then the fee for each additional programme will be Rs. 400/- for Unreserved/OBC, PC candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC & ST candidates
Fee of Rs. 50/- shall be paid by the candidate as portal fee to the MP online limited
If a candidate wants to amend entries in his/her application an additional fee of Rs. 20/- shall be paid by the candidate as portal fee to the MP online limited within given time
Bank draft and cheques will not be accepted and Entrance Test Fee is Non-refundable
After making the payment, a payment receipt will be generated which should be printed by the applicants. They need to keep one hard copy of the form and receipt with them

Reservation of Seats
Candidates belonging to OBC -NCL , SC, ST and Physically Challenged (PC) categories will be given reservation as per the Government of India rules i.e. OBC(NCL) - 27%, SC-15%, ST-7.5%:
3% seats are reserved within each of the categories (General, ST, SC and OBC) for Physically Challenged (PC) candidates (on horizontal basis), only if the candidate fulfills the other minimum eligibility at the Entrance level examination.
Kashmiri Migrants will be given certain concessions as per the UGC guidelines : 10% Relaxation in cut of Percentage Subject to Minimum Eligibility/Increase in intake Capacity 5% Course wise (except in courses Governed by Statutory Bodies) and 2 seats under supernumerary quota for students from J&K 1 seat for courses Governed by Statutory Bodies
In case of PC of any category of disability benefit would be given to those who have at least 40% physical impairment. The percentage of disability of the candidate should be certified by the competent authority. The reserved seats belonging to SC/ST are interchangeable in case of vacancy. If the seats belonging to reserved categories candidates remain vacant and the list is exhausted, then the vacant seats may be filled by General category candidates.
Two (02) supernumerary seats for players (Sports Seat) shall be available for each Undergraduate Programme, and One (01) supernumerary seat shall be available for each Postgraduate Programme.
