Gujarat University is recognized by the UGC and accredited with a ‘B++’ grade by NAAC. Gujarat University has been ranked 43rd among the Top Universities in India by NIRF 2021. It is one of the oldest and largest universities in India with more than 3 lakh students. Gujarat University is an affiliating University at the undergraduate level and a teaching university at the postgraduate level. Gujarat University offers UG, PG, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate courses under various departments. Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates seeking admission to the BDS, MBBS, M.Tech, MBA need to have a valid score in the entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, and CMAT respectively.

Scholarship

The tuition fees of VGEC per semester are 1500 rs/sem. The hostel fees per semester are 1260 Rs and the mess charge is not included in the hostel fees. The college doesn't provide scholarships but accepts all scholarships of government like MYSY, Digital Gujarat and Namo-Etab.....
The fees for girls are very nominal i.e. 500 rs. For a semester and for boys it is a bit on a higher-end i.e. 1000 rs. Per semester. Scholarships are provided to the lower backward class or SC/ST. Some govt. Aids are also provided to the students for better education and financial support
