Application Procedure
RMLAU accepts applications in various courses through offline mode. Students are advised to follow the below-listed steps:

Visit the official website of RMLAU.
Download the Application Form and fill all the Academic & Personal details.
Send the duly filled application form with all the documents along with DD of INR 550 drawn in favor of ‘Finance Officer, Dr. RML Avadh University payable at Faizabad by Registered or Speed post.
Note: A separate application will need to be filled and application/entrance fees to be paid separately if the candidate is applying for multiple courses.

RMLAU Undergraduate Admission

The university offers admission to the UG courses on the basis of marks acquired by the candidates in 10+2 from a recognized board.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program will have to appear for the UPSEE exam.
Selection to other UG courses will be on the basis of the Merit and Entrance test.
RMLAU Postgraduate Admission

Candidates seeking admission to PG courses must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.

The selection of the MCA program will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the UPSEE exam.
To apply for an MA program, the candidate has to appear for the AUCAT exam followed by the counseling.
RMLAU Ph.D. Admission

The University offers a Ph.D. course in various specializations at the Doctorate level.

The minimum eligibility to apply for the Ph.D. program is a Master’s degree in a relevant stream.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured in CET (Common Eligibility Test) and personal interview round.

Avadh University Scholarships
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University provides financial assistance to the students on the basis of merit or socially backward castes. RMLAU provides various scholarships to the following candidates which are listed below–

Students who hail from the SC/ST/OBC quota or Minority communities are eligible to get a scholarship if they secure a 75% in their Higher Secondary Examination.
Students who hail from an economically low background are eligible for a scholarship by the University.
The University sponsors a scholarship under the sports quota.
The University sponsors a scholarship to students who are Physically Challenged.
Avadh University Facilities
Hostel: Each hostel has a separate complex housing catering services and indoor games along with modern facilities like TV, Phone, Gas connection, furniture, cable, Newspapers/Magazines, and Solar water heating systems.
Laboratories: The University has well-equipped laboratories in each area of learning. The University provides PCR, FT-IR, Electron Microscope and X-ray diffraction, and more.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), established in the year 1975 by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh is popularly known as Avadh University. It is a State University located in the Faizabad city of Uttar Pradesh. The University holds the NIRF rankings of 136 among all the universities in the country.University provided courses for UG, PG, Management courses, law courses, Education and Physical Education Courses, PG Diploma courses, Vocational Courses and Engineering and Technology Courses are provided.

Basic eligibility for BA, BCA, B.Sc, BBA & BFA programs is a pass in 10+2. RMLAU also offers admission to B.Tech & MCA program on the basis of valid score in UPSEE followed by counselling.
MA, M.Sc, MCA & MSW courses require a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
Candidates applying for B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed/ LL.B & M.Ed courses are required to score at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Admission is given on the university conducted entrance test Avadh University Combined Admission Test (AUCAT) and for vacant seats on the various Nation/ State level exams like UPSEE, GATE.
RMLAU also offers Ph.D. in various disciplines. The admission is offered on the basis of good score in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) conducted by university departments followed by an interview.
It is mandatory to fill the admission form online present at the university official website.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate who wants admission must clear class 10+2 in any stream within min. 45% marks are eligible to apply.

To apply for B.Sc. and BA, the candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent with 50% marks in relevant subjects.

Candidates who have cleared 10+2 (CBSE or any Equivalent Board) with min. 45% marks are eligible to apply for B.Voc.

Selection Criteria
Admission in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports and Bachelor of Social Work is given on the basis of merit list of class 12

Selection Criteria
The universities give admission on the basis of cut-off marks which are decided on the marks of Bachelor's Degree with Physical Education as elective. The cut-off marks are released and students who fulfil the eligibility can opt for the admission.
AUCAT score is also considered.

RMLAU offers Ph.D. in various disciplines at Doctorate level. Basic eligibility is a pass in Master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate. The admission is offered on the basis of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) followed by an interview.

Note-

GATE, CSIR (UGC), JRF or NET qualified candidates will be exempted from the Common Eligibility Test.
Final year students can also apply for admission in Ph.D. courses.
Minimum qualifying marks for CET are 40% in each paper followed by an aggregate of 50% in total.
The application fee for Ph.D. is INR 800 (INR 400 for reserved categories).
