BITS Pilani BTech 

BITS Pilani BTech has been ranked at 26 in the NIRF Engineering rankings 2021. The institute offers 7 specialisations in its BTech program. In addition to this, BITS Pilani WILP also offers off-campus BTech degrees in Engineering Technology and Process Engineering for working professionals only. Admission to the regular BTech program is done via BITSAT entrance scores. Whereas, admission to the off-campus BTech program is based on the merits obtained by the students in their last qualifying examination. 

BITS Pilani MBA

The DoM, BITS Pilani offers a two-year on-campus MBA in Business Analytics. Admission to the BITS Pilani MBA program is offered through BAAT entrance scores. The BAAT 2022 will be conducted on April 8, 2022, for MBA Admissions 2022-24. Additionally, BITS Pilani WILP also offers online MBA programs under 7 specialisations. These WILP MBAs are specifically designed for working professionals allowing them to pursue a higher degree while working in an organisation. Selection to the online MBA programs is done via the merits obtained by the students in their last qualifying examination. 

BITS Pilani MTech  

BITS Pilani offers a two-year MTech/ME program across 16 specialisations. Admission to the BITS Pilani MTech/ME program is done via BITS HD or GATE entrance scores. Candidates with any of the valid exam scores can apply to the program. Additionally, the institute offers a wide range of specialised online MTech programs for working professionals and executives. BITS Pilani WILP offers around 15 new and emerging technology specialisations in the MTech program. Admission to the same is carried out on the merit basis of the last qualifying examination by the student. 

BITS Pilani WILP

BITS Pilani WILP (Work Integrated Learning Programs) are technical continuing education programs for working professionals and industries. The programs offered give an opportunity to the students to experience the environment of working industries. The program has gained a lot of popularity over the years. With just 30 students in 1979, WILP currently has more than 30,000 professionals enrolled. The institute has more than 1000 faculty members associated with the WILP. Till date, around 1,00,000 professionals have graduated with BITS Pilani WILP certificate/degree.

The work integrated learning programs are offered to both working professionals and organisations. Programs offered to working professionals include MTech, BTech, MBA, MSc, PG Diploma, and PG Certificate programs. The classes of the program are conducted in an online mode on weekends without interrupting the career of the student. In addition, the institute also provides tutorials, doubt-clearing sessions, and industry talks to students. On the other hand, programs offered to organisations are expertised in IT, Engineering, Technology, Sciences, and Management fields. The programs give technical expertise and skill sets to the employees of the organisation.

BITS Pilani Data Science 

BITS Pilani offers MTech Data Science and Engineering programs through the Work Integrated Learning Programs (WILP). It is a four-semester program that can be pursued without any career break. The curriculum covers areas such as Mathematical modeling, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Product development, and scripting languages that prepare students for the most lucrative career options in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Advanced Analytics.

The classes for the program are conducted by BITS Pilani faculty over weekends only through live online sessions. Also, the program provides experiential learning through Simulations, Online Labs, Case Studies, Group Discussions, Assignments, and Project work. Additionally, BITS Pilani WILP charges a fee of INR 62,750 per semester for its MTech in Data Science program along with the one-time fee of INR 16,500. 

BITS Pilani Scholarship

A variety of scholarships and concessions are available for the newly admitted students at BITS Pilani. The institute offers merit and need-based scholarships to support its students financially. Some of the popular concessions and scholarship schemes offered at BITS Pilani are as follows:

  • Scholarship for Board Toppers: BITS Pilani offers 100%, 75%, and 50% fee exemption as a merit scholarship for the top three board toppers of their respective boards. The scholarship is valid only for the first-semester tuition fee.
  • Merit in Qualifying Examination: Students who have obtained 90% or above in the aggregate of the qualifying examination are given a 20% of merit scholarship for the first-semester tuition fee. While the students who have obtained 80% or above and less than 90% in the aggregate of the qualifying examination are given a 15% of merit scholarship for the first-semester tuition fee.
  • Merit in BITSAT Examination: BITS Pilani offers 75%, 50%, and 25% of the merit scholarship for the students as per their rank in the BITSAT examination. Also, the students can get the hostel fee concession as per their BITSAT rank. 

  • BITS Pilani Placement

    BITS Pilani have started its 2022 placement drive. Till August, 329 students received placement offers. Reputed recruiters like Microsoft, Walmart, Service Now etc visited the campus. The highlights of the placement drive are mentioned below:

    • 71.83% of the participating students got placed.
    • A participation of 87 recruiters have been observed.
    • 287 Pre-placement offers were also made.
    • An average salary of INR 28.99 LPA was offered to the students.
    • The highest CTC stood at INR 1.33 CPA.
    • Microsoft offered the highest number of Pre-placement offers.
