NIT Warangal Quick Update

NIT Warangal is the first NIT established in India. NIRF has placed NIT Warangal at 45 in the Overall category and 21 in the Engineering category in its 2022 rankings. NIT Warangal admission 2022 is ongoing for the B.Tech program. JoSAA 2022 round 1 seat allotment result is out now. Candidates can check the seat allotment results on the official website of JoSAA - josaa.admissions.nic.in. NIT Warangal is the first NIT to be established in India. The institute ranks at 21 in the engineering list of NIRF 2022. NIT Warangal Online Courses 2022

Several short-term courses, workshops, online certifications, and training programs are offered at NIT Warangal through its Center for Continuing Education (CCE). As part of its ongoing effort to provide faculty and students with appropriate teaching methodologies and educational facilities, the NIT Warangal's Centre for Curriculum Excellence has launched these online courses. NIT Warangal BTech Program
NIT Warangal BTech is ranked 21st engineering category of NIRF rankings 2022. With a total of 929 seats, the program is offered across 8 specializations. Candidates are also offered a variety of specializations among the honors and minor BTech programs. Also, students after their 5th semester can opt for any of the honors programs and complete their degree in honors. Whereas, the courses for minor specialization start from the 3rd semester onwards. Students are required to register for any one minor specialization in each semester. 

NIT Warangal Placements 2022
NIT Warangal assists its BTech, MTech, and MSc students with prominent job opportunities during the placement sessions. During NIT Warangal Placements 2022, B.Tech CSE average salary stood at INR 25.5 LPA & B.Tech ECE average salary stood at INR 18.9 LPA. NIT Warangal Scholarship
NIT Warangal offers a wide range of scholarship options to help students financially. The criterion for these scholarships and financial assistance is merit and need-based. Some of the popular scholarship schemes offered to the NIT Warangal students are given below. 

Institute Merit Scholarships: NIT Warangal offers institute merit scholarships to its meritorious students. Students who have scored a CGPA of 9.1 or above are able to get fee waivers under this scheme. 
MHRD Scholarships: The MHRD Scholarship scheme is offered on the basis of the JEE Main rank irrespective of caste categories. The interested students must have scored a JEE rank of less than 2000 to avail the benefit of this scholarship. 
TS E-Pass Scholarships: The institute offers TS E-Pass scholarships to its OBC/EBC/SC/ST category students whose annual family income is less than INR 1 lakhs. Also, the applying students must belong to the Telangana region only to get fee waivers and other benefits under this scheme. 
Fee Remission: NIT Warangal provides fee remission to its EWS students. Students whose annual family income is less than INR 1 lakh may get full tuition fee remission. Whereas the students whose annual family income is between INR 1-5 lakhs may get the 2/3rd fee remission of the tuition fee.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2022?

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password
• Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

For JOSAA Counselling:

Candidates who have a positive JEE Main score have to go for JoSAA counselling. Follow these steps to register:

• Click on the registration page at the official JoSAA website.
• Use the JEE Main application number to log in.
• Ensure that your candidate profile is accurate. 
• Click on ‘Submit changes’.
• Fill out your preferred colleges and specializations according to the list of available options.
• Lock the selected choices by clicking on ‘I agree to lock my choices’.
• Keep a printout of the page for future reference.

NIT Warangal M.Tech. Admission 2022
The institute offers a 2 years long M.Tech program under 29 different specializations among 8 departments via regular mode. NIT Warangal charges a fee of INR 75,000 for the 1st year of its M.Tech program.

NIT Warangal MTech Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program at NIT Warangal are required to have a bachelor's degree such as B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant discipline. 
Candidates must have secured at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA in their graduation. 
NIT Warangal MTech Selection Criteria 
Candidates are selected on the basis of the rank secured by them in the GATE Exam.
Allocation of seats is done after the successful completion of CCMT counselling process and on the basis of previous academic records, availability of seats and other factors.
How to apply for GATE?
Those who are eligible for admission have to take the GATE. The registration process for it is given below:

Visit the official website
Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
After the form is submitted, an enrollment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
Fill out the application form.
A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.
CCMT Counselling: 
Candidates who take the GATE will have to go for CCMT counselling. To apply, follow the given steps:

Register at the official website.
Fill out the application form.
Pay the registration fee of 2,200 INR (1,700 INR for reserved categories).
Click on “I agree”.
Start entering your choices. When it is done, lock the choices.

NIT Warangal M.Sc. Admission 2022
NIT Warangal offers a 2 years long M.Sc program in 3 different specializations including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The institute charges a fee of INR 20,000 for the 1st year of its M.Sc. program. 

NIT Warangal M.Sc Eligibility Criteria 
The candidate should have a B.Sc. degree in the relevant discipline.
A candidate must have secured at least 60% of marks in his/her graduation. 
NIT Warangal M.Sc Selection Criteria 
The initial selection to the M.Sc program is offered on the basis of marks scored in IIT JAM.
A candidate is offered the admission seat after the successful completion of CCMN counselling round.

How to apply to IIT JAM? 

The candidates who are eligible for studying M.Sc have to take the IIT JAM. Follow these steps to register:

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email address and mobile phone number. Create a password.
• After submitting the registration form, an enrolment ID would be sent to the mobile number.
• Fill out the form. Include the details of the JAM papers and choice of JAM examination cities.
• Pay the application fee online and keep a printout for future reference.
• You can download the admit card from this portal later.

For CCMN Counselling: 

• Visit the website of CCMN and click on “New Registration”.
• Enter the JAM score details.
• Enter the personal details carefully.
• Click on “proceed’ to preview the filled out form.
• Create a password and click on “Submit”. An OTP will be sent to your number.
• Enter the OTP. A Permanent Identifier (PID) will be created. Once this happens, no more registration will be allowed. Use this to log on to the Candidate’s Corner from the next time onwards.

NIT Warangal MBA Admission 2022
NIT Warangal offers a 2 years MBA program in 5 different specializations. The institute charges a fee of INR 84,736 for the 1st year of its MBA program. 

NIT Warangal MBA Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking admission to an MBA program must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. 
Also, he/she must have secured at least 60% of marks in graduation. 
NIT Warangal MBA Selection Criteria
The candidate should have appeared for the entrance exam and have a valid entrance score such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT.
The final selection to the program is done on the basis of the GD & PI round conducted by the institute itself.
How to Apply for CAT?
Candidates who are eligible for admission to MBA have to take the CAT for selection. Follow these steps to register:

Visit the official website.
Click on “Registration” for new users.
Read the given instructions.
Fill in the necessary details to generate OTP.
Enter the OTP and validate it.
Check ‘I Agree’ and submit the CAT application form.
After submitting the details, a message will be sent to the registered mobile number containing the password, and an email will be sent containing the user ID.
After the registration is complete, a unique login ID and password will be generated.
Click on ‘Go to Application Form’ to fill out the CAT application form.
NIT Warangal MCA Admissions 2022
NIT Warangal offers a 2 years long MCA program and charges a fee of INR 75,000 for the 1st year of its MCA program. 

NIT Warangal MCA Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a graduate degree with 60% marks.
Also, a candidate must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects.
NIT Warangal MCA Selection Criteria
For selection, the candidate should have appeared for the NIMCET exam and have scored valid marks in the exam.
Candidates are then called for counseling for the final selection to the program.
How to apply for NIMCET?
Candidates eligible for MCA will have to take the NIMCET for selection. The process for registering is given below:

Candidates have to register on the NIMCET website by creating the login, password as instructed therein.
Fill all the details on the online form.
The last date for submitting the form is March 31.
Candidates will have to pay a fee of 2,500 INR online.
All the relevant documents should be uploaded along with the online application form.
Remember the login name, email ID, password and security question till the end of the NIMCET process.
NIT Warangal Ph.D Admissions 2022
NIT Warangal offers a 3 years long PhD program in 13 specializations in both full time and part time mode and charges a fee of INR 47,000 for the 1st year of its PhD program.

NIT Warangal Ph.D Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to have a Master's degree such as M.E. or M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
                                                                                         Or,

Candidates having B.E. or B.Tech degree needs to have at least 65 % marks or 7.0 CGPA in their graduation. 
NIT Warangal Ph.D Selection Criteria 
Selection to the Ph.D. programs are made on the basis of scores in GATE or JRF/ NET exams. 
A written test and personal interview is also conducted by the institute to give admission to the Ph.D. program.

Select the course and download the application form.
Fill the form correctly-
Affix the passport sized photograph
Mention personal details
Followed by educational qualifications
Sign the declaration.
The application fee can be paid online or offline via Demand Draft issued in favor of “The Director, NIT Warangal” payable at SBH, NIT Warangal Branch.
The application form, DD along with the following documents must be submitted at the institute either personally or via post.
