NIT Sikkim is an Institute of National Importance approved by AICTE. The institute is ranked 173rd position by the NIRF ranking 2022 in its Engineering category. NIT Sikkim admission 2022 is ongoing for the B.Tech program. CSAB 2022 special round 2 seat allotment result is out now. Candidates can check the seat allotment result through the official website - csab.nic.in. The last date for seat acceptance and online reporting for admission is November 5. NIT Sikkim has been accorded the status of an Institution of National Importance by the Government of India and approved by AICTE. The institute is well known for its CSE program in the engineering field. NIT Sikkim admission to this program is made via JEE Main exam followed by JoSAA counselling. 

NIT Sikkim observed 64.61% placement with maximum offers grabbed by B.Tech students. The highest package offered in the NIT Sikkim placement 2020 was INR 18 LPA, with an average package of INR 8 LPA. In comparison to 2019 statistics, there is a slight increase in placement rate with static highest CTC.

How to Apply for National NIT Sikkim?

B.TechFor admissions into the B.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for JEE Main and JoSAA counselling.

M.Tech: For admissions into the M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for the GATE exam which is followed by counselling conducted by the institute.

Scholarship

Several scholarship schemes are available at NIT Sikkim for the students pursuing any of the recognized undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in any field of education except the externally sponsored/funded students of research-based programs. Each scholarship scheme of NIT Sikkim has its own eligibility and requirements for the students belonging from different categories.
