Under Maharaja Agrasen University Solan Admission 2020, the university offers various Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate Level courses in the field of Architecture & Design, Basic & Applied Sciences, Law, Management, Pharmacy, and Technology. All the courses are being offered through the respective departments & colleges set up and managed by the university. Eligibility criteria is a subject to change as per the course and its specialization is chosen. Some of the main courses’ eligibility criteria are given below:
Eligibility Criteria:
- For B.Tech Admission, a candidate has to provide a valid 10+2 pass certificate from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. A valid score in JEE(MAIN)/ HPCET is mandatory for seeking admission to the university. Lateral entry facility is also available in all the streams with a diploma in relevant stream holding a minimum of 50% marks.
- For M.Tech Admission, an aspirant should possess a relevant B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. In addition, a valid score in GATE/ HPCET is mandatory for admissions.
- For MBA admission, any graduation from a recognized university with a min. of 50% of aggregate marks and a qualifying score in any of the entrance exams such as CMAT/ CAT/ MAT-AIMA/ HPCET.
- B.Arch admission is done on the basis of a pass certificate in 10+2 examination or equivalent with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- For B.Pharm and D.Pharm admissions, an aspirant should possess a valid 10+2 certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics with a min. of 45% aggregate marks and a valid score in NEET/ HPCET entrance exams.
- A relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks is given to the reserved categories for admissions to all above-mentioned courses.

- Admission to B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Com, BTTM, BHMT, B.Com LLB, BA LLB, B.Design, B.Vocation and B.Pharm program is given on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
- The minimum eligibility for B.Arch course is candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and Mathematics as a subject or 10+3 Diploma or IB Diploma.
- Admission to B.Arch is given through NATA/ JEE Paper 2.
- Students who have passed Graduation in any stream with minimum 45% marks are eligible to join LLB program.
- Admission to LLB course is done on the basis of merit.
- Candidates who have completed Graduation in any relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks are considered eligible to get admission to M.Com, MBA, and MSc courses.
- Admission to MTTM, M.Com, M.Sc. and LLM program is given on the basis of merit.
- Candidates with BE or B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks are eligible to join M.Tech program.
- Candidates are admitted to the M.Tech course on the basis of GATE score or HPCET conducted by HP Technical University.
- Students who have completed LLB or BA LLB with at least 50% marks are considered eligible to join LLM course.
- Admission to LLM course is given on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination.
- Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. is candidate must have completed Master’s degree or M.Phil. in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- Selection of the candidates for admission to the Ph.D. course is done on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are considered eligible to apply for admission to D.Pharm course.
