KIIT Bhubaneshwar is ranked 11th in Law Category and 34th in Overall Category by NIRF 2022. KIIT Bhubaneswar was established in 1992 as an Industrial Training Institute and In 2017, the institute was renamed Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. KIIT is a private academic institution that offers manifold study programs at Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral levels. KIIT University Admission to UG and PG Courses is granted on the basis of a valid score in KIITEE followed by counseling.KIITEE is conducted by KIIT University for MBA, BBA, BCA and other UG course admission for different schools of the university. For medical courses, students need to have a valid NEET UG or NEET PG score for fulfilling the admission criteria. Apart from KIITEE, KIIT also accepts other examination scores, such as NATA for B.Arch, UGAT for BBA, GATE for M.Tech, and UGC NET for PhD.

KIIT has released its 2022 placement report. A total of 3500 students participated in the placement drive and over 4200 offers were received. Around 1200 students received multiple offers and the Highest CTC of INR 52 LPA was offered to 5 Students whereas the Average CTC stood at INR 6.05 LPA

  • Exam Mode: KIITEE 2021 examination will be organized via online (Computer-based) mode.

    KIIT University Placement

    With 270 plus top-notch companies doling out over 4200+ job offers for a batch size of 3500 eligible B.Tech students of 2022 graduating batch, KIIT looks well-poised to achieve 100 percent campus placement for yet another year . Since the commencement of the campus placement season 2022 graduating batch from May 2021. More than 3000 students got single placement offers, while the top 1500 students were placed in “Dream Companies” with an average CTC of INR 8.10 LPA. 35 companies offered a CTC of INR 10 LPA and above per annum, while over 130 companies offered a CTC of INR 5 LPA.

    In addition to this, 5 students of KIIT have got placement offers with the highest CTC of INR 52 LPA. The average CTC has been recorded at INR 6.05 lakh, which is 30% higher than the previous year. More than 3000 students are already placed and over 1200 students bagged multiple job offers. HighRadius, a FinTech company, has collaborated with KIIT to establish a FinTech Lab in KIIT Campus wherein, 2000+ students are getting one-year experiential learning internship with a stipend of INR 15,000 per month. HighRadius has provided placement to 710 plus students of KIIT with an INR 8 lakh package. 

    In the placement drive of 2021, the highest CTC of INR 30 LPA was offered to them by Amazon. The average CTC stood at INR 6.50 LPA which was offered by the dream companies. Top recruiters like Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Escorts etc participated in the placement drive.

      The institute follows a common application process for all the courses (based on KIITEE) except for MBBS/ BDS/ MD/ MS/ MDS courses. Follow the given steps in order to apply for KIITEE:

      Visit the official website of KIIT and select the option for ‘Online Application’.
