IIT Bhubaneswar is among the 8 new IITs established by the Govt of India. Admission process at IIT Bhubaneswar for PG and PhD programs are currently ongoing for July 2022 admissions. The institute has released the list of candidates shortlisted for PhD written test. The written test will be held on May 20 and the interview rounds are scheduled for May 20-21. IIT Bhubaneswar BTech
IIT Bhubaneswar’s BTech program has been ranked 28th by prestigious NIRF Engineering rankings in 2021. The program has a total seat intake of 355 and is specialized in five disciplines. Merit-cum-Means Scholarships: IIT Bhubaneswar offers MCM scholarships to first-year UG students whose annual family income is less than INR 4.5 lakhs. The selected students under this scheme will be offered tuition fee waivers up to 100% based on their merits.
Stipend/Financial Assistance: The financial assistance scheme is offered to the IIT Bhubaneswar students enrolled in a two-year MSc or joint MSc-PhD program. As per this scheme, students are rewarded with a monthly stipend to meet their academic expenses.
Top Class Education Scheme for SC/ST Students: The scheme is offered via National Scholarship Portal (NSP) especially to the SC/ST students. Hostel: There are two hostels, one each for male and female students. The hostels have a capacity of 800 and 200 residents for males and females respectively.
