Graphic Era Hill University is a private university located in Dehradun, Uttrakhand. It was set up under the foundation of the Graphic Era Education Society (GEES) in 1996 as a non profit organization. Admission to most of the courses is based on merit secured in the qualifying exam whereas for few of the courses the university accepts entrance exam score like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, UPTU-SEE and UTU-SEE.

30% of seats for B.Tech courses are reserved for students residing in Uttarakhand.
Some of the specialized/professional courses require the applicants to score at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam. 
Admissions in the university are shortlisted for admission solely on the basis of merit.
Admission to the BTech program is offered as per the JEE Main score.
MTech admissions are based on GATE Score.

GEHU Dehradun UG Admission 2022

GEHU offers various UG courses in more than 10 disciplines at its Dehradun campus. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of merit. Candidates applying for the B.Tech courses are required to appear for JEE Main to be considered eligible for admission. Also, candidates who scored 60% and above marks in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) are directly eligible for admission.

Management students are required to appear for CAT/MAT/XAT to be considered eligible for MBA course whereas Candidates applying for M.Sc. in Mathematics are required to appear for an entrance exam held by the university, which is followed by a personal interview.

GEHU Dehradun PG Admission 2022

GEHU offers 8 post-graduate programs in several disciplines. Candidates with a valid GATE score can apply for direct admission. The university also has intake provisions for students based on marks scored in the qualifying exam, i.e. graduation. A counseling session is held before the final list of selected candidates is announced.

Candidates applying for any of the PG courses offered by the university must hold a graduate degree in the concerned discipline (with minimum 50% marks for professional courses like M.Tech programs).

GEHU, Dehradun campus, accepts admission to its Ph.D. courses from candidates who have completed their Masters from a UGC recognized university. Candidates are further required to score a minimum of 55% (5.5/10 CGPA) to be considered eligible for admission.

  • The application/registration fee for all courses is INR 1200/- can be paid online via credit card/debit card/net banking, or via demand draft/cash deposit in the case application is filled offline.
  • The application form has to be submitted along with the self-attested copies of the following documents:
