Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDUGU or DDU GKP), Gorakhpur is one of the premier state universities, located in Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh state. The university has around 329 Affiliated Colleges. Admission to all courses is done through an entrance test which is conducted by the university itself. It also accepts the UPSEE exam for MBA admission. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University endeavors towards improving the status of SC/ST students, providing them remedial courses so that they do not lag behind.

DDU GKP Admission
The university provides the application form for all courses offered by it on the official website of the university. Candidates seeking admission can submit their applications through the official website. Applicants have to pay a prescribed application fee at the time of application form submission.
For admission in UG courses, the university selects candidates for admission on the basis of merit in qualifying examination and performance in the entrance exam held by the university. The application fee for registration for admission is INR 750 for General and INR 400 for SC/ST.
The selection process consists of an entrance test which is conducted by DDUGU for admission in PG courses. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance exam are considered for the admission process. Applicants seeking admission to the MBA program need to appear for UPSEE Exam. The application fee for registration for admission is INR 1000 for General and INR 500 for SC/ST.
UPSEE
UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) is a state-level entrance test which is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow for admissions to various UG and PG courses offered by the colleges of Uttar Pradesh. UPSEE Eligibility may vary for different courses. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their UPSEE Application Form on the official website of the exam.
DDU GKP Scholarship
