CCSHAU Facilities
CCSHAU provides various facilities to its students. They are as follows:
- Hostel: The university provides separate hostels for both boys and girls except Diploma students. The Hostels are well-equipped with all the latest facilities such as WiFi, LCD TV with dish antennae, solar water-heating system, gas connection, furniture, EPABX phone facility, mess facility, water coolers with purifier system and Table Tennis facilities.
- Library: The university provides library facilities to its students. The library contains around 3.18 lakh volumes of books and 718 Indian and foreign journals and has 6 reading halls with a cosy reading environment where 650 readers can sit and study at a time.
- Laboratories: The university has well-equipped laboratories in each area of learning to provide PCR, FT-IR, Electron Microscope and X-ray diffraction and many more.
- Sports: The university has two indoor badminton courts with seating capacity for 600 spectators, two indoor squash courts, hobby rooms, and two multipurpose indoor gymnasiums with a reasonable seating capacity.
- Medical Services: The university has a well-equipped 50-bed Hospital at the main campus, Hisar and 3 Dispensaries at out-stations that are at College of Agriculture, Kaul (Kaithal), Regional Research Stations, Karnal, and Bawal. - Matric with 60% marks (relaxable up to 57% for Scheduled Caste and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates) from a recognized Board.
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- The candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT).

How to Apply for CCS HAU 2022
The candidates seeking admission to CCS HAU have to apply online through their official website.
They have to go through the prospectus carefully and can download it from HAU website i.e. www.hau.ac.in.
The Application Form should be filled in carefully. Once form is submitted, no change in is permissible.
They have to pay an application fee of INR 1000/- (250/- for SC/BC/EWS).
The college releases merit lists considering the different eligibility criterias and marks scored by the candidates in various entrance examinations.
Final seat allotment is done upon counselling and payment of fees.
CCS HAU Scholarships
Institute Scholarships distributed by CCS HAU, are awarded only to the candidates who got admissions in Haryana reserved seats and on the basis of the merit list prepared (for admission).
For UG programme students: The University awards the merit scholarship of INR 800/- to each student per month. This scholarship is, however, offered to only 25% of those students who have been admitted against the Haryana reserved seats. The amount of scholarship will be INR 1200/- per month for the girl student.
For PG programme: Students (except MBA General, MBA Agribusiness, Master of Rural Management), M Sc Food Science & Technology, MBB and Bioinformatics) from any of the constituent colleges of the university and if he/she is not receiving any other scholarship or fellowship then they will be awarded a stipend of INR 3000/- per month.
For PhD: Students from any of the departments of the university, shall receive a sum of INR 5000/- per month, despite not receiving any other scholarship or fellowship.
National Talent Scholarship by ICAR: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research awards National Talent Scholarship for INR 3000/- per month for UG students and INR 5000/- for PG students on merit, based on the entrance test on All India basis conducted by ICAR.
Promotion of Science Education (POSE) Scholarship: Department of Science & Technology has started a scholarship scheme for the UG students pursuing B Sc (General) and PG students opting for basic science subjects. Every year 100 students each of B Sc -1 year and M Sc are selected on merit basis. Scholarship of INR 4,000/- per month + contingency stipend of INR 4,000/- once in a year to B Sc students & scholarship of INR 6,000/- per month + contingency stipend of INR 5,000/- once in a year is provided to M Sc students.
HSCST Fellowship: Under this scheme, 25 fellowships (per year) are offered to students under M Sc or equivalent degree, with a minimum of 55% marks and on the basis of their performance in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR twice in a year. The maximum period of fellowship is five years and the amount is INR 18,000/- per month for the first two years and INR 21,000/- per month for the 3 years onwards. The fellowship carries an annual contingency grant of INR 20,000/-.
