VEE
The VELS Entrance Examination (VEE) is a prerequisite for admission to VELS University Chennai's undergraduate and graduate programs.VELS University Chennai administers the test. The offline VEE will take place on May 13, (tentatively). Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can take the exam.
• To be considered for VEE, a candidate must have a minimum grade point average of 10+2.
• The VEE Application Form will begin (tentatively) in December. The last date to apply for the test is April 30, (tentatively).
• Depending on the course, the application fee ranges from INR 500 to NR 1000.
• Within the allotted 90 minutes, candidates must attempt 100 questions.
• One mark is given for each correct response, and no points are deducted for incorrect responses.

Eligibility for VEE is based on academic qualification, minimum secured marks in qualifying exam as is given below herewith:

VEE Application Form
Application Form for VEE will be released in December . VEE Application Form can be obtained via both Online and Offline.
Steps for online submission of VEE exam application form are as follows:
1. Visit official website i.e. www.velsuniv.ac.in
2. Go to Admission and Click on Apply Now.
3. Fill Information asked in the application form:

6. Upload scanned images of Self Photograph, Signature (Self and Parent / Guardian)
7. Submit and take a review
8. Proceed to payment section
9. Make payment with Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card.

Offline mode
• The application can be purchased by paying the required fee at the VELS University office.
• Postal applications for VEE are also accepted.The applicant can send a DD for the VEE application fee to the VELS University mailing address, depending on the program they are applying for.
• Complete it in the same manner as the online application. If necessary, attach photocopies of all academic records as well as three passport-sized self-photos and two stamped, self-addressed envelopes.
• Post it to VELS University's Chennai address, which is VELS University Velan Nagar, P.V.Vaithiyalingam Road, Pallavaram, Chennai-600 117, Tamil Nadu, India, with a Demand Draft for the prescribed fee for VEE .
Fee for application
The VEE application fee varies by course.
• The online application fee ranges from INR 500 to INR 1000.
• INR 550 is required to send the university's application form via postal mail.The filled-out application form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft for any additional fees.

VEE Admit Card
VEE Admit Card will be available on official website i.e. velsuniv.ac.in. Admit card will also be sent to the candidates via post who applied through offline mode. Steps to download the admit card are:

5. Take a printout for future reference

VEE Exam Pattern
• VEE entrance exam is an offline pen paper based test.
• Duration of 90 minutes for attempting 100 objective type questions is allotted.
• VEE exam is of 100 marks; each question carries 1 mark.

VEE Result
• Result for VEE is expected will be announced in the 3rd week of May (tentatively).
• Result will be displayed on its official website i.e. www.velsuniv.ac.in .
Steps to check VEE Results are given below:
1. Visit the official website of VEE
2. Click on link ‘VEE Result’
3. Enter your roll number and other details
4. Click on ‘submit’ button
5. Download the displayed pdf result
6. Take a print out of VEE Score Card for future reference
• VELS University will send interview cards to Shortlisted Applicants.
• Applicant will have to present at the stipulated time given for interview.
• Failing to present in interview, applicant’s candidature will automatically be rejected.
VEE Counselling
• Counselling process starts with the declaration of Result for VEE .
• It continues for entire one week after declaration of result from 10 AM to 5 PM every day.
Candidate must carry below-mentioned documents during counselling process:
o All-Academic Records in original from Class 10th to Graduation like Certificate / Degree / Mark Sheet (as applicable according to the course and eligibility)
o Photo ID Proof showing Candidate’s Photo, Address, Date of Birth and Father’s or Mother’s Name or both
o 2 Self Photographs
o 2 photocopies set of all documents mentioned above, photocopies should be self-attested
o Migration Certificate
o Category Certificate
o Fee of 1st semester. Fee can be paid either in cash or by DD. DD should be generated in favour of “VELS UNIVERSITY” Payable at “CHENNAI”.
