A combined merit list will be created following the announcement of the results based on the percentage that each candidate received.Counseling is open to those who meet the minimum required percentage of scores.The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh administers the PGIMER entrance exam to select students for its PG Diploma programs, such as DM/MCH.For general students, the PGIMER qualifying marks are 55%, for SC/ST/OBS students, 50%, and for Bhutanese students, 45%.To be considered for one of the 223 Master of Surgery (MS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats in its three-year residency-cumulative training program, qualified candidates will need to take part in counseling rounds.

Eligibility for PGIMER
All applicants must be aware of the PGIMER eligibility requirements for admission to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research prior to submitting an application.The following are the PGIMER Eligibility Requirements:
• A registration with the Central/State Medical Registration Council is required of the applicant.
• For MD/MS courses:The Medical Council of India recognizes only MBBS or an equivalent degree.
• Regarding MDS programs:The Dental Council of India-recognized BDS degree from Panjab University is required of all applicants.
• For the DM class:Candidates should hold an MD or MS degree.
• For the January session, candidates must have completed or be scheduled to complete one year of rotatory internship training by December 31.
PGIMER Application Form
The PGIMER application forms for the DM/MCH courses were made available on March 24, .The official AIIMS New Delhi website, aiimsexams.org, is the place to register.Candidates will initially be required to complete the basic registration, followed by the generation of the RUC (Registration unique code).They must then complete the final registration.Candidates are required to safeguard the password and application number for future use.It is suggested that they print out their application as soon as they are finished with it.
The steps for filling out the PGIMER online application are as follows:
• Visit aiimsexams.org, AIIMS's official website.
• Before filling out the online application, read every instruction.
• Enter your name, father's and mother's names, date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address for the PGIMER registration.
• Fill out the application with your personal information, such as your address, nationality, academic credentials, income category, choice of exam center, course taken, etc.
• Send the scanned images of your signature and photo in the ".jpeg" format.The images should not be larger than 50 KB.
• Click the "Submit" button after reviewing all of the information on the form and making any necessary adjustments.
• Candidates will be redirected to the window where they can pay the application fee after completing the PGIMER online application.
• Online payment is available for the PGIMER application fee.
• Candidates will receive an email or text message confirmation generated by the system following successful registration and payment of the examination fees.
• After the application has been submitted successfully, candidates will receive an email with a confirmation and an Application Number generated by the system.
• Candidates should enter their information with extreme caution. After they submit their information, it cannot be altered in any way.

The INI CET application fee must be paid for each course listed below.The SBI Bank Challan is the only way to pay for the fees.Once paid, the fee cannot be refunded.

PGIMER Admit Card
The PGIMER DM/MCh Admission Cards can be downloaded from the official website, pgimer.edu.in.Candidates are required to enter their application number (User ID) and password in order to download the PGIMER hall ticket. It will incorporate the applicant's name, roll number, test focus, test date, and test setting.
Candidate should bring their photo identity card and admit card with them to the exam as proof of identity so they won't have to worry about anything during the exam.
Steps to download the PGIMER Admit card are given below:
• Go to the official website.
• Click on the link referred as PGIMER Admit Card.
• Enter your login details, Application Number/User ID and your password.
• Login and download the Admit Card for examination.
• Print the Admit Card on A4 sheet.
• Keep the Admit Card safe till counselling process gets over.

PGIMER Syllabus
In order to gain admission to the various PGIMER courses, applicants must familiarize themselves with the syllabus for PGIMER and prepare accordingly.Candidates will be tested in PGIMER on their understanding of all MBBS/BDS subjects, including Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects.
PGIMER Result
The PGIMER results for the MD/MS programs will be posted on the AIIMS website in the first week of December.The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh's official portal is where candidates can view their January session PGIMER results.
Steps to check PGIMER Results are given below:
• Visit the official website of AIIMS Delhi .
• Click on the link "PGIMER Result".
• Login using Registration Number/Application Number and Password.
• Click on the "Submit" button.
• Results will be displayed on the new screen.
• Download and save your PGIMER Result.
PGIMER Counselling
Based on PGIMER rank, counseling and seat allocation will be done in the same order.Candidates are required to show up for counseling at the scheduled time and date.On the specified date, the candidate's certificates and other documents will be checked at the counseling center.The candidate should bring all required documents with them to the counseling procedure.No one else will be allowed to represent the candidate at the counseling and admission.
The following is important information regarding the PGIMER Counseling:
• PGIMER Directing will be held through disconnected mode.
• Students are required to attend counseling in person.
• Four rounds of counseling will take place.
• Conveyance of seats will be finished based on scores acquired in the placement test.
• The counselling process will only be open to those applicants who have been shortlisted on the basis of the entrance exam.
• Counseling times will be communicated to candidates via email.
