Paramedical Admission
• Paramedical admission is open to students who have passed biology in their 12th grade or an equivalent exam.
• A class 10 passing certificate is required for admission to diploma programs. Every paramedical college that offers diploma paramedical courses has a different minimum percentage requirement.
• Candidates are required to possess specific academic credentials for some courses. Candidates must have passed their 12th grade with 55% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in order to be admitted to paramedical courses at government colleges like AIIMS New Delhi.
• For admission, many paramedical colleges have their own entrance exams. The AIIMS paramedical exam, NEET-PG, SAAT, IGNOU OPENMAT, and AJEE are national-level paramedical entrance exams.
NEET is Required for Paramedical Courses?
Yes, the best BSc Nursing colleges in India will accept a valid NEET score to admit students to their programs. For BSc nursing admission, some schools, like AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh, and CMC Vellore, have their own university-level entrance exam. For the rest of the paramedical course admissions, the NEET score is not required.
