NMAT

The NMAT by GMAC is a national exam for MBA/PGDM admission to NMIMS and other prestigious colleges.The National Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) was administered by NMIMS up until 2015, at which point the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) took over.Candidates can apply for admission to five colleges by taking the NMAT exam.During registration, a fee of INR 300 must be paid for sending scores to additional colleges.

Eligibility Requirements for the NMAT  Exam 

Candidates must meet the GMAC-defined eligibility requirements listed below in order to submit an NMAT Application.
Nationality: For the NMAT, Indian citizens can apply.NRIs are eligible to apply for admission if they have valid GMAT scores of 600 or higher.
Graduation: A three- or four-year bachelor's degree from a reputable university in any field is required.
Minimum Score: To be eligible to take the NMAT exam, graduation grades must total at least 50%.
Age: The NMAT  exam is open to people of any age.
Work History: The NMAT application form does not require prior work experience.
Final-year students: If they are able to bring their final grade sheet and provisional certificate to the time of admission, graduating seniors can also apply for the exam.
The amount of Attempts: A student can take the exam for as many years as they want.However, candidates can only take the exam three times (including two retakes) per exam year.

NMAT  Exam Pattern

As per NMAT Exam Pattern , the question paper will comprise 3 sections (LR, Quant, and Language Skills) having 36 questions each. Going through the latest exam pattern is an indispensable part of developing a sound preparation strategy.

•  Medium of NMAT Exam: It is conducted in the English language only.
•  Mode of Exam: NMAT is conducted in 2 modes- home-based remote proctored mode and online CBT mode at test centers located across 68 major cities of India.
Number of Questions: 108 MCQs. No descriptive questions are asked in NMAT exam.
• Number of Sections: 3 sections- Language Skills, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.
• NMAT Marking Scheme: 1 mark awarded for every right answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect and unanswered questions.
NMAT Exam Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes). Also, there is a sectional time limit in NMAT exam.

NMAT  Admit Card 

•  The official NMAT  Admit Card can be downloaded from mba.com/nmat within 24 hours of completing NMAT registration and exam scheduling.
•   After the NMAT application fee has been paid, the authorities will also send a link to download the admit card to the candidate's registered email address.
•  Candidates will need their registration number and password to download their admit card.
• The NMAT Admit Card will include important information about the exam center, time of the exam, reporting time, and instructions for the day of the exam.

How do I obtain the NMAT  Admit Card?

• Either go to the official NMAT by GMAC website or follow the link in the email you received.
• After logging in with your application number and password, click the link that says "download NMAT Admit Card." Your admit card will be downloaded in pdf format. Save it and take a printout of it for later use.

After downloading the hall ticket, carefully check your photograph and all of the details to make sure there aren't any mistakes. In the event of any error, contact the helpdesk or email the specialists at nmatsupport@gmac.com.

NMAT  result

•    After the exam is over, the NMAT  result will be made public by GMAC in the form of a scorecard.
•    Using the NMAT login and password they created during registration, candidates will be able to download their scorecards.
•    The candidate's name, birth date, application number, and overall and sectional scaled scores will be included on the NMAT  Scorecard.
•   The NMAT result will remain valid for one year following its release.
