KEAM

CEE administers the state-level exam known as Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical, or KEAM.Candidates for engineering, architecture, medical, pharmacy, and other science courses at various government, private, and self-funded colleges in Kerala will be selected through this examination.Over the course of the past five years, an average of 40-60,000 students have taken part in KEAM.

KEAM  Eligibility criteria

Candidates appearing in KEAM  must satisfy the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

Age

•       To apply for KEAM , the minimum age requirement of the applicant is 17 years.
•       No upper age limit is mentioned for the Engineering, Architecture, and B.Pharm courses. The upper age limit for medical or affiliated courses will be announced in the NEET Information Bulletin of UG .

Nationality

•       The applicant must be a citizen and a permanent resident of India to apply for KEAM .
•       Persons of Indian origin(PIO) and overseas citizens of India(OCI) cardholders are eligible for KEAM  as well.

Qualification criteria

Engineering courses:

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 board examinations or equivalent from any recognized board of education with at least 50℅ in Mathematics and 50% in total aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science or Biology.

Architecture courses:

•       10+2 certificate or equivalent from any recognized board showing 50% in Mathematics and 50% in total aggregate.
•       Valid NATA  score

B.Pharm courses:

•       Candidates must have passed their 10+2 board examination with 50% in Biology or Mathematics and 50% in total aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics)

MBBS, BDS, and BSMS courses:

•       Candidates who have cleared their 10+2 board examination or equivalent with 50% in biology/biotechnology and 50% in total aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) are eligible to apply.
•       Candidates also need to have a valid NEET  score card.

BAMS/BHMS/B.Sc (Hons) Agri/ B.Sc (Hons) Forestry/ B.F.Sc courses:

•       Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level board examination with 50% in Biology and 50% in the total aggregate containing Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

BUMS course:

•       Candidates must have passed the Kerala HSC/12th board examination or equivalent with 50% in Biology and 50% in the total aggregate containing Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
•       Candidates must have studied Urdu/Arabic/Persian as a subject at class 10th level or equivalent

KEAM  Application Process

Candidates can apply for KEAM  online. The application form for KEAM  will be available on the official website of CEE Kerala. Here's a list of important documents you'll need while filling in the KEAM  application form.

•       10+2 exam certificate or equivalent
•       Scanned copy of your recent passport-sized photographs.
•       Scanned copy of your signature.
•       Aadhar card as proof of age
•       PAN card as an address proof
•       Documentation of academic details
The candidate needs to submit all the above-mentioned documents while filling in the application form. After filling in all the details, the candidate will need to keep a printed copy of the application form. The candidate needs to submit an application fee along with the KEAM  application form. KEAM  Exam Pattern

Here's an overview of the exam pattern that will help the candidates to gain a basic idea of the examination.
•       Mode:  KEAM  will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode.
•       Papers in the exam: KEAM  will be divided into two main papers. Paper one will have Physics & Chemistry. Paper two will have Mathematics.
•       Type of Questions: Objective type
•       Number of Questions: Each paper will have 120 questions.
•       Duration: 2:30 hours for each paper.
•       Scoring pattern: For every correct answer, the candidate will get 4 marks.
•       Negative marking: For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

KEAM  Admit card

•       The KEAM  admit card will be available on the official website of CEE.
•       The candidate will need to enter their login credentials (application number and date of birth) to download the admit card.
•       Keep a printed copy of the admit card as you'll have to carry the printed copy to the examination center.

KEAM Result

•       KEAM results will be published on the official website of CEE.
•       The merit list will also be published on the same website based on the results of the candidates.
•       There will be a different merit list for every course.
•       Candidates will get a call for KEAM counseling based on the merit lists.

KEAM  Counseling

•       KEAM counseling rounds will be conducted through the single window system, tentatively in May.
•       The candidates will need to fill in their list of preferred colleges.
•       A centralized allotment process will be conducted for the verification of documents submitted by the candidates.
