JEE Advanced

The engineering entrance exam known as JEE Advanced is given to the top 2,50,000 students who have already passed the JEE Main Exam.The Joint Admission Board (JAB) oversees the JEE Advanced exam, which is administered by the seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Roorkee).

JEE Advanced  Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Requirements for JEE Advanced  Prior to submitting an application for JEE Advanced, candidates must review the eligibility requirements.

 Age Limit: The following are the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements: Candidates for general and OBC positions must have been born after October 1, 1998. There is a five-year age relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Candidates from underrepresented groups (SC/ST/PWD) must have been born after October 1, 1993.

Class 12 subjects include: Candidates in class 12 are required to take Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

Percentage: For general and OBC candidates, the JEE Advanced Exam requires a minimum of 75% score on the 12th grade or an equivalent exam. Candidates from the SC/ST/PwD categories must have earned 65% of the grade in 12th grade.
The number of Attempts: Candidates can take the JEE Advanced Exam twice in the same two years.

Main JEE Rank: The candidates will only be eligible for the JEE Advanced in if they rank among the top 2,50,000 JEE Main candidates.

JEE Advanced  Application Form

Candidates have to fill JEE Advanced  application form online from the official website of JEE Advanced. The candidates have to do the registration and fill the application form in the following way:
•       Visit jeeadv.ac.in in your browser
•       Log in by entering your JEE Main roll number and password
•       A new page will appear asking you for your personal and academic details, preferred language, exam cities, etc
•       Submit and move on to the next step
•       Upload all the essential documents and proceed
•       Pay the application fee for the exam

JEE Advanced  Exam Pattern

The JEE Advanced  exam will be computer-based at IIT Guwahati.There will be two papers in the assessment and up-and-comers will get 3 hours for each paper.Candidates must attend both papers in order to be considered.The structure of the exams was altered annually by the IITs that were in charge.Read on to learn more about the exam format.

JEE Advanced Mock Test

Candidates should attend the mock tests before the examination so that they can understand the pattern of the question paper. JEE Advanced mock test papers will be released on the official site before the exam. Follow the below-mentioned steps to attend the mock test:

•       Visit the official website of JEE Advanced
•       Click on the link showing ‘Mock Test’
•       Sign in with your log-in credentials
•       Read the instructions carefully and select the language to take the test
•       Start the test
With these mock tests, the candidates should solve JEE Advanced previous year question papers.

JEE Advanced  Admit Card

The admit card for JEE Advanced  will be available on the official website. The admit card will contain the information of candidates’ names, date of birth, roll number, exam center, exam time, etc. The admit card and a Govt. approved photo id proof must be carried to the allotted exam center. Without these two the candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam. To download JEE Advanced  admit card follow the below-mentioned steps:

•       Open the JEE Advanced official website
•       Find and click on the ‘Download JEE Advanced  Admit Card’ link
•       Put the registration number and password to the candidate portal and login into it
•       The site will display JEE Advanced hall ticket 
•       Go through the admit card and verify all the details
•       Download the admit card and take a printout for future references

JEE Advanced  Result

The important points of JEE Advanced  result are discussed below:

•       The candidates can check the result by entering their roll number, date of birth, and phone number on the official website in June  (tentative).
•       A text message will be delivered to the registered phone number of the qualified candidates.
•       Depending upon the rank in JEE Advanced, the candidates will get admission to IITs.

JEE Advanced  Counseling

The JEE Advanced counseling process will be conducted by the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). The qualified candidates will be eligible to enroll themselves in the JEE Advanced counseling process. To participate in the counseling process follow the below steps:

•       Firstly the candidates have to complete the JoSAA registration.
•       After successful registration, the candidates have to choose the college and the course as per their JEE Advanced rank. Based on seat availability, there will be several rounds in the counseling process.
•       The document verification will also be done during the counseling process.
