Exam Date and Time for CMAT 2023: The CMAT 2023 exam will be conducted on a single day, and the exact date will be announced later. The exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm in over 100 cities across India. Candidates need to carry their admit cards and valid ID proof to the exam center. |
Application Fee for CMAT 2023 Exam: The application fee for the CMAT 2023 exam is INR 2,000 for general category candidates. However, women and reserved category students can avail themselves of a discount and need to pay INR 1,000 only. The payment can be made through debit card/credit card or net banking. |
What is CMAT?
The Common Management Aptitude Test, also known as the CMAT, is an Indian national-level management entrance exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for MBA and PGDM admission.NTA has been leading the CMAT test starting around 2018, before this, the test was being held by AICTE according to the guidelines of the Public authority of India.

CMAT Registration Process
The CMAT Application Form can only be downloaded from the official website following the publication of the official CMAT notification. Online registration covers the entire process. The CMAT Registration Process will begin (tentatively) in December, The application process is detailed below.
•Candidates who are interested and qualified are required to complete the CMAT application and register on the official website.
• For the General/Unreserved category, the application fee is INR 2000, while for the Reserved category, it is INR 1000.
• Only upload signatures and scanned images of photographs in the specified format.
• Before submitting your CMAT application, double-check every crucial detail.
• Take a copy of the application form and print it out for use in correspondence.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria
Before registering for the CMAT exam, candidates preparing for the exam should review the CMAT Eligibility Criteria :
Graduation: A bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a reputable university in any field is required.
Minimum Score: To apply for the CMAT exam, a minimum number of graduation marks is not necessary.
Age: For the CMAT exam, no age limit applies.
Final-year students: Students in their final year, whose results will be available before the admissions process for the academic session -2024 begins, are also eligible to apply for the CMAT exam.
The number of Attempts: The number of times a student can take the exam is unlimited.
CMAT Reservation Criteria
The candidate must review the institute-specific CMAT reservation policy before applying to colleges that accept CMAT scores. Candidates in the reserved category are only eligible for CMAT Admission if they successfully present the category certificate at admission. Colleges and institutes that are governed by the Central Government of India are eligible for the aforementioned reservations.

MAT Exam Format
The CMAT exam is a computer-based, online test in which candidates must answer 100 questions within three hours.The NTA has updated the CMAT Exam Pattern.The CMAT exam has five sections:Logical reasoning, general awareness, quantitative techniques and data interpretation, language comprehension, and innovation and entrepreneurship.The CMAT Exam Pattern has the following structure:
Type of Test: The CMAT exam is given in an online CBT format at test centers in more than 124 of India's major cities.
The CMAT Exam's Medium: The test is only administered in English.
The CMAT exam takes: The examination can be completed in 180 minutes.
Limits on Sectional Time: CMAT does not have a sectional time limit.
Quantity of Questions: There are 100 MCQs, with 20 questions per section.
The number of sections: Five sections with the option to switch between them: Up-and-comers can switch between segments whenever the timing is ideal and consequently can endeavor the inquiries in any request.
The Order of the Questions: In accordance with the revised CMAT exam pattern listed below, the questions will be distributed among the five sections mentioned above:

CMAT syllabus
The CMAT syllabus covers the following subjects: General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, and Language ComprehensionCandidates must devote equal attention to all subjects in order to receive a high score because there are identical questions in each section.
Interpretation of the Data and Quantitative Methods: Speed, distance and time, percentages, averages, ratios, and proportions; profits; tables; bar graphs; line graphs; venn diagrams; pie charts, among other things.
Analytical Thinking : Data Structure, Logical Sequence, Number and Letter Series, Binary Logic, Direction Sense, Clocks and Calendars, Puzzles, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relationships, and other similar concepts
Language Understanding: Reading comprehension, passages, sentence correction, and jumbled paragraphs are just a few examples.
Awareness of the World: Politics, history, culture, geography, economics, sports science in everyday life, personalities in the news, the Indian Constitution, current affairs of the national and international economy, and sports news.
Inventiveness and business acumen: The Startup Ecosystem, Banking Regulation & Reforms, International Organizations, General Economy, Important Events, Budget & Economic Survey, Business & Corporate Affairs, New Investments & Schemes, Policies Related to Entrepreneurship and Business Promotion, and Current Affairs.
