CAT Exam Marking Scheme:

•       For each correct answer, candidates will receive 3 marks.
•       Candidates will receive a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer for the objective questions.

CAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements established by the exam's conducting authorities in order to submit CAT  application forms.
Graduation: A bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a reputable university in any field is required.
Minimum Score: Candidates must have graduated with a minimum of 50%.The minimum overall score for candidates from the reserved category is 45%.

Age in CAT : There is no upper age limit for CAT  registration.

Final-year students: Students in their final year can also apply for the exam; however, they will only be admitted if they graduate with at least 50% of the required marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).In addition, applicants who have finished their final exam and are awaiting the results can also apply.
Degrees for professionals: The CAT application form is also available to applicants with CA, CS, or ICWA degrees.

How to Download Admit Card of CAT?

The steps to downloading the CAT  admit card are as follows:
• Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official CAT website.
• Under the "Registered Candidates Login" tab, select the Login button.
• To log in, enter your password and CAT ID.
• Select "Download CAT  Admit Card" from the drop-down menu. • Your hall ticket will appear on the screen. Print a copy from the download.
• Keep a paper copy of your admit card on hand for future use.
