What is the BSW Program? 

The BSW Program is a three-year professional degree program for undergraduates majoring in social work. A typical BSW program consists of six semesters spread over three years. Candidates may be required to complete the program within six years in certain circumstances. Candidates can enroll in the BSW degree program full-time, via correspondence, or via distance learning. The BSW program consists of three main parts: fieldwork, the elective, and the foundation course.

Distance BSW admission

•       The duration of BSW in distance is for a period of 3 years. The maximum duration can be for a period of 5 years.
•       The average course fee of BSW varies between INR 6800-INR 12,000.

BSW Subjects

The BSW syllabus comprises a total of six semesters. The final semester involves the completion of the project. A few universities like IGNOU and Annamalai University (in distance mode) follow an annual system wherein exams are conducted once a year.
