Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) has been functioning since 2005 to acquaint systematic learning methods in engineering & technological fields and impart efficient and quality education in several curriculums such as UG, PG, Diploma & Research levels. The streams under which all the courses are offered are Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Management, etc.
CSVTU has recently introduced 4 new programs at the UG level and the Diploma level. These programs include B.Tech (Hons.) in CSE-Data Science & B.Tech (Hons.) in CSE-AI and Diploma Programmes in two main specializations i.e. Mining Engineering and Fire Safety & Industrial Safety. Admission to the university is either entrance-based or merit-based. For some courses, the university itself conducts entrance tests along with the counseling process whereas for other courses the university accepts national level entrances like GATE, NET, SLET, JEE Main and students need to match the cutoff percentile released by the institute for the final selection.
In order to enable the students to achieve knowledge & skills required for the professional world, the university owns a Centralised Placement Cell which takes efficient concerns about the recruitment process and the betterment of the students. Coming to the infrastructure, CSVTU has basic facilities for the students. The facilities include a well-stocked library, sports complex, hostel, laboratory, auditorium, and a lot more.

CSVTU Facilities Library: The university has a well-equipped library. The library has a huge stock in the extensive range of arenas. Students, research scholars, teaching staff all can avail themselves of books, Periodicals, journals, and e-resources from the library. Hostel: CSVTU provides accommodation amenities with all the adequate requirements. The hostel is under an air-conditioned facility. All the basic facilities like mess, common room, laundry service, security & surveillance system, etc. Sports: The university has supreme sports facilities with indoor & outdoor activities. CSVTU BE and B.Arch Admissions 2022 At undergraduate level, the university offers a number of Technical courses in the fields of Engineering and Architecture under multiple specializations. The duration of the B.E. programme is four years whereas the B.Arch course takes fives years to complete its duration. The university also provides B.E. degree under lateral entry.
Aspirants should secure a place in the state rank of Chhattisgarh in architectural Aptitude test of AIEEE (determined by totaling the marks obtained in Mathematics and Architectural Aptitude test of AIEEE) to get admission in the Technical courses.
The eligible candidates should secure a place in the merit list of CG-PET/AIEEE, Raipur for admissions to B.E. In general, the admissions to B.E. course shall be governed by the rules by Directorate of Technical Education or any other competent authority of the State Government of Chhattisgarh.

At postgraduate level, the university also offers courses in the field of Business Administration and Computer Application. The MBA programme is of two years and the MCA programme is of a period of three years. The MBA programme is also offered on part-time basis for the working professionals for which the duration period is maximum three years.
A candidate holding a graduate degree (at least of three years duration) or post-graduate degree of the University or of any other University recognized to be equivalent thereto by the University with at least 50% of Marks in aggregate in the Faculty of either Engineering, Medical Science, Agriculture, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, Life science, Hotel Management, shall be eligible for application for admission to MBA course.
