Specifically, the Post Graduate Programme in Management is a management postgraduate course. It is sometimes also thought to be the same as an MBA. The P.G.P. in Management typically lasts two years, but this can vary from institute to institute. As a result, PGPM typically lasts for four semesters. Some of the schools offer a P.G.P.M. program for one year, while IIM Sambalpur offers a program for two years with six semesters. Second-year students may also choose their own electives at some institutions or colleges. The program's goal is to help students become more competent managers.
PGPM Eligibility
• The P.G.P. in Management course's minimum eligibility requirements must be met by prospective students.
• A graduate degree from a recognized institution is required.
• Up-and-comers ought to have at least 50% imprints in their advanced education. The minimum percentage of marks, on the other hand, varies by the institute.
• Any of the accepted entrance examinations, including the CAT, XAT, CMAT, and others, require candidates to have a valid scorecard.
• Aside from this, candidates will need to meet other institute-imposed eligibility requirements, such as an age limit. These conditions differ from institution to institution.
Top PGPM Exams

How to Apply
The majority of colleges have a four-step application process for PGPM courses. These steps are as follows:
• Complete the College's Application Form: The applicant who satisfies all the qualification rules for the course should apply to the school wherein they need to take affirmation, either on the web or through the post, according to directions from the chosen college(s).
• Test for Entry: Almost all colleges accept entrance exam scores for admission to PGPM courses. Therefore, in order to gain admission to the college that you have chosen, the candidate must determine which entrance exam is accepted by the college and ensure that they appear for that exam and meet the requirements to do so. Most of the time, IIMs accept CAT scores for admission, but other colleges will take any combination of CAT, CMAT, or GMAT scores.
• Ability to compose Test (WAT): You will be notified about the subsequent admission rounds, which typically consist of a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI), once you have passed the PGPM college's cutoff. Except for IIMs, some colleges typically begin with Group Discussion Round, followed by WAT and PI. A student's capacity and analytical skills are typically tested on WAT. The final selection for the PI round is made from those students who pass the exam.
• Individual Meeting (PI): This is the second most crucial step in PGPM admissions, after WAT. The PI round is limited to the final shortlisted candidates only. A candidate's personality, educational background, and work experience are evaluated in this round, as are their managerial and leadership abilities.
