The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Goa administers the GCET , a state-level entrance exam for a variety of professional degree programs.The admission decision will be made based on how well you did on the entrance exam.In the state of Goa, candidates will be able to apply to state-funded engineering colleges.Admission to the MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Science (Paramedical), and B.Sc. programs will be granted to NEET-qualified applicants.in classes for nurses.

Eligibility for the GCET
Candidates who have passed, appeared, or are appearing in the HSSC (Std.Before the start of the academic year, students who have passed the 12th Science or an equivalent examination are eligible to take the GCET Mathematics is not required for applicants to the Pharmacy Course alone.

GCET Application
Form Both online and paper versions of the GCET application are required.The following forms comprise the GCET Application Form:
• Form A: for admission to professional degree programs in Engineering and Pharmacy based on the GCET.
• Form B: for admission to professional degree programs in nursing, MBBS, BDS, AHS, BHMS, and BAMS based on the NEET in and .
• Form C: based on NATA for admission to the B.Arch. course -23.The admissions committee will provide you with the GCET admit card.Candidates will only receive their admit cards in person.To take the test at the designated location, candidates must present "Photo Admit Cards."
GCET Admit Card
• Those applicants whose application materials are not complete will not receive an admit card.
• If the admit card is lost, it will not be reissued.
• The date and time of the exam, the candidate's name and roll number, and the exam location will all be included on the admit card.
• On the day of the exam, candidates must bring their original admit card to the location.
• It is suggested that you bring all of the necessary documents and one photo ID proof.

GCET Cutoff
The GCET cutoff depends on a lot of things, like how many applicants applied in previous years and how well you did overall.The following are some of the factors:
• Number of Candidates who appeared in the exam
• No of the candidates qualify for the exam
• Level of difficulty of question paper
• No. Of vacancy in the exam
• Cutoff may also be sectional wise
GCET Result
The DTE Goa website and the DTE notice board both contain the GCET result.There will not be a scorecard for each person.The appropriate newspapers are notified of any schedule adjustments.
• The merit list for providing admission will be prepared based on the students' scores.
• Revaluation and mark verification are not allowed.
• The merit list can be downloaded by candidates from the website.
GCET Counselling Process
The following information must be provided by candidates:
Reg No – the GCET registration number GCET No – the unique id given to candidates Category – the student's category Name of Candidate Gender The candidate's contact information provided at the time of registration HSC details GCET Marks Note:They must submit two recent photographs within three months of submitting the application.The application forms use these.
The following documents must be attached to the application by the candidate:
• Eligibility certificates from Goa University (for applicants other than Goa state board) Income certificates for a tuition fee waiver Copy of GCET Admit Card Acknowledgment Card with photo Statement of marks/Certificate/provisional certificate of passing H.S.S.C. Certificate for reserved category Certificate of residence Documents for a relaxing period of residencyAttending in person Candidates must attend the GCET counseling in person at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim admission center in accordance with the admission schedule. They must bring their acknowledgment card, original documents, and the counseling fee.
• Candidates will be able to choose a seat based on their merit number in this section.
• Candidates must report within three days of being admitted after submitting the required documents and paying the applicable fees.
• The candidates must also get their admission acknowledged.
•They will be admitted provisionally until they present their admission card to the designated institution and complete the necessary admission procedures.The acknowledgment card serves as evidence that the form B/B1 for counseling has been accepted.The card must also include the registration number.The institute should receive the admission card before the deadline.Candidates will only be given this admission card once the original documents are received and the counseling fee is paid.
Documents needed for a Caste/Category Certificate for GCET Counseling Verification:
• The GCET Acknowledgement Card with Photograph
• a copy of the GCET Admit Card,
•the 10th standard mark sheet or certificate - 10th standard/equivalent examination marks card are required of the candidate (if applicable).
• A candidate must provide the Board or Council-issued 10th Admit Card or Pass Certificate as proof of age.
•Passing Certificate and Mark Sheet for the 12th Standard: a card with your 12th Standard or equivalent exam marks.
• Candidates will need a diploma from their last school or an eligibility certificate from Goa University.
